Inarwa, Saptari
Inarwa is a village development committee in Saptari District in the Sagarmatha Zone of south-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 2582 people living in 416 individual households.
1934 Bihar earthquake
The 1934 Bihar earthquake was one of the worst earthquakes in India's history. Some 30,000 people were said to have died. Munger and Muzaffarpur were completely destroyed. This 8.1 magnitude earthquake occurred on January 15, 1934 at around 2:13 PM (I.S.T. ) and caused widespread damage in the northern Bihar and in Nepal. The epicentre for this event was located in the eastern Nepal about 240 km away from Kathmandu.
