Charik
Charik is a village in Moga district of East Punjab (Indian Punjab). It is one of the largest villages of Punjab by population. A young man of the village, Lakhvir Singh, got martyrdom in an encounter, between the security forces and militants, in Sopore district of Jammu and Kashmir in February 2010.
