Lokanarkavu Temple
Lokanarkavu Temple is in Memunda 4 km from Vatakara, in Kozhikode District, North Malabar region of Kerala state of south India. Lokanarkavu is a short form of Lokamalayarkavu which means lokam (world) made of mala (mountain), aaru (river) and kavu (grove). It is the official family temple of the 500 Aryan Nagariks who had migrated to Kerala and their successors. The closest railway station is at Vadakara,which is 5 km from temple. Te nearest airport is Calicut airport which is 87 km away.

Vatakara is a coastal Municipality in Kozhikode district of Kerala, a South Indian state, spread over an area of 21.32 km. It is the headquarters of Vatakara taluk. This place is erstwhile Kadathanadu and was part of North Malabar province of Malabar District in Madras State during British Raj.
Tellicherry Fort
Tellicherry Fort is in Thalassery (Tellicherry) a town in Kannur District of Kerala state in south India. The British East India Company built the fort in 1708 to establish a stronghold on the Malabar Coast. In 1781 Hyder Ali, ruler of the Kingdom of Mysore, was unsuccessful in capturing the Fort in his campaign to control Malabar. His successor, Tipu Sultan, was forced to cede Malabar District to the British in 1792, at the conclusion of the Third Anglo-Maratha War.
Dharmadam Island
Dharmadam Island (Green Island) is a small 2 hectare private island in the Kannur District of Kerala, southern India. It lies 100 metres from the mainland at Dharmadam. This island, covered with coconut palms and dense bush is a beautiful sight from the Muzhappilangad beach. During low tide, one can walk out to it from the beach. Permission is required to land on the island as it is privately owned. Dharmadam, known earlier as Dharmapattanam, was a Buddhist stronghold.
Memunda
Memunda is a small village near Vatakara town in Kozhikode district of Kerala, south India. The Story of Thcholi Othenan is related to this place. Many exploits of Tacholi Othenan, the hero of the ballads of north malabar (Vadakkan Pattukal) were held in is the Lokanarkavu, in Memunda . Annual ceremonies are conducted in memory of "Othenan" whose birthplace is Manikoth, Meppayil near Memunda. The famous Lokanarkavu Bhagavathi Temple is situated in this place.
Overbury's Folly
Overbury's Folly is a finished construction, or architectural folly, that now serves as a recreational park located in Thalassery, south India. The folly is located on a hill near Thalassery District Court and is adjacent to a park. It slopes down from the sub-collector's bungalow to the rocks below and is named after its builder, E. N. Overbury, a Briton who served as a local judge at Thalassery in the 1870s. In 1879, Overbury wanted to construct a picnic spot at the cliff.
Thalassery Pier
Thalassery Pier locally known as Kadalpalam is located in Thalassery, Kannur District of Kerala state, south India. It is an old pier extending out into the Arabian Sea. It is frequented by people taking evening walks. This "Kadalpalam" was used as a commercial access through the sea, to and from the Tellicherry Bazar, during the European rule. It is an old story now. At present it is in a deteriorating state. Now it can be preserved as a Tourist Centre.
Government Brennen College, Thalassery
Brennen College is one of the oldest educational institutions in Kerala affiliated to Kannur University. It is located in Dharmadam, Thalassery of Kerala state, India. The Brennen College evolved from a school established by the English philanthropist Edward Brennen, who had made Thalassery his home. In December 2004, the government of Kerala bestowed the status of "university" on Brennen College. There are 16 departments in the college, most of which offer post-graduate level courses.
Thalassery Stadium
Thalassery Stadium is located near the Thalassery Civil Station, Kerala state, South India. Cricket was played in Thalassery much before it was introduced in Calcutta in 1860. Thalassery Stadium, also known as the Thalassery Municipal Cricket Ground, hosts the Ranji Trophy cricket matches every year. On this ground, the first ball was bowled in the early 19th century, thanks to Colonel Arthur Wellesley, who brought the game to this Malabar town.
Edacheri
Edacheri is a small panchayath in the district of Kozhikode in the South Indian state of Kerala. It is part of the North Malabar province of Kerala, and is situated east of Vatakara. Purameri Panchayat borders it to the east, Eramala Panjayath to the west and Mahe river to the north. Edacheri comes in the Nadapuram constituency and has a strong leftist political history. The panchayat has always gone to the LDF (Left Democratic Front) since its inception. The panchayat has a mixed population.
Thottada Beach
Thottada Beach is a beautiful beach in Kannur district of Kerala, south India. It is situated at Thottada just about 2.5 km from the NH 17 connecting Kannur town and Thalassery and 7 km from Kannur town. The virgin beach 800 meter long is ideal for sun bathing. Tourists could stay at the beach house or guest house near the beach. The Thottada river (a small one) flows into one end of the beach.

Mahé River (also known as Mayyazhipuzha), is a river in South India. It flows through the state of Kerala and the coastal exclave of Mahé in Puducherry.
Mahe district
Mahe district, one of the four districts of the Union Territory of Puducherry in India, has an area of 9 km. It consists of the whole of the Mahé region. The total area of Mahe District is surrounded by North Malabar of Kerala State. Three sides by Kannur District and one side by Kozhikode District. In fact, geographically Mahe District is part of North Malabar. It is the sixth least populous district in the country.
St Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Thalassery
St Joseph's Higher Secondary School, Thalassery is an educational institution in Thalassery, Kerala. It was started as an Anglo Indian school in the 16th century, run under the management of Latin Diocese of Kannur. It is located in the heart of Thalassery town, by the side of the Tellicherry Fort. The architecture of the school gives a view of the Arabian sea, even from the classrooms.

Morazha is a village of Taliparamba Municipality in Kannur district in the Indian state of Kerala. Before expansion of Taliparamba Municipality this village was part of erstwhile Anthoor Panchayat. Though part of a Municipal Town, Morazha remains like a sinless village. The landscape of Morazha village comprises paddy fields and hilltop areas. This village have four major portions viz. Morazha Central, Panneri, Kanool and Punnakkulangara.

Though no trains originate from this station, almost all the important trains passing are provided with a stop here.
