Nalvi
Nalvi is a big village in Haryana(a North Indian state), India. It is located just off the national highway no.1. its 19 k.m. before ambala cantt,nearest town is Shahbad markanda (12 km). The majority of the population being Sikh. Most inhabitants are in agriculturist. The village is approximately 450 year old. It is named after one of the great Sikh warriors, Hari Singh Nalwa, who as a military general of Ranjit Singh's army. He was the Governor of Kashmir in 1822-23.
