Satpula
Satpula is a remarkable ancient water harvesting dam or weir located about 800 m east of the Khirki Masjid that is integral to the compound wall of the medieval fourth city of the Jahanpanah in Delhi, with its construction credited to the reign of Sultan Muhammad Shah Tughlaq (1325–1351) of the Tughlaq Dynasty. The objective of building the weir was for providing water for irrigation and also, as a part of the city wall, to provide defense security to the city against attacking armies.
Siri Fort Sports Complex
The DDA Siri Fort Sport Complex is a sports stadium in New Delhi, India. The complex was build for the 1982 Asian Games, next to the Asian Games village by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA), which also runs the facility now.
Kalkaji Mandir metro station
Kalkaji Mandir is an elevated station on the Violet Line of the Delhi Metro. It is located between Nehru Place and Govind Puri stations and provides access to tourist sites such as Kalkaji Mandir, Lotus Temple and ISKCON Temple which are situated very near to the station. The station was opened with the first section of the Line from Central Secretariat - Sarita Vihar on October 3, 2010, in time for the Commonwealth Games opening ceremony on the same day.
Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir
Chittaranjan Park Kali Mandir (Chittaranjan Park Kali Bari) is a temple complex and Bengali community cultural center in Chittaranjan Park in New Delhi, India. Built on a small hill, it started as a Shiv temple in 1973, which still stands within the complex, the larger shrines dedicated to goddess Kali, Shiva, and Radhakrishna were added in 1984. Over the years it has remained an important centre of convergence of local Bengali community during annual Durga Puja festivities.
