Panaji
Panaji /ˈpʌnədʒiː/ is the capital of the Indian state of Goa and the headquarters of North Goa district. It lies on the banks of the Mandovi River estuary in Tiswadi taluka. With a population of 65,000 in the city and approximately 100,000 in the metropolitan area, Panaji is Goa's third largest city after Vasco da Gama and Margao. Panaji means “land that never floods”. It has terraced hills, concrete buildings with balconies and red-tiled roofs, churches, and a riverside promenade.

Ponte Conde de Linhares
The Ponte Conde de Linhares, often shortened to Ponte de Linhares is a 3 km long causeway connecting Ribandar to the main city of Panjim in Goa. On the south side is the Khazan salt pans and to the north is the Mandovi River. There are ducts which act as tide controls. Ponte Conde de Linhares was built in 1633 under the direction of the then Viceroy of Portuguese India, Miguel de Noronha, 4th Count of Linhares, after whom it is named.
Tilak Maidan Stadium
Tilak Maidan Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Vasco da Gama, Goa, India. It is used mostly for football matches and regularly hosts matches in the I-League as well as local Goan leagues. The stadium holds 12,000 people. The stadium is maintained by the Sports Authority of Goa. The stadium is the home ground for local team Vasco SC, however, they often use the much larger Fatorda Stadium in Margao.

Goa Medical College (GMC) (Konkani: गोवा मेडिकल कॉलेज) is a medical college and hospital in Goa, India. It was built by the Portuguese in 1842 as the Escola Médico-Cirúrgica de (Nova) Goa (Medical-Surgical School of Goa). It is the first Medical College of Asia. Originally located in Panjim, the college was moved to Alto-Bambolim in the year 1993. The college is under the Goa University since 1986 before which it was under the Bombay University.
Mapusa River
Mapusa River ('Rio de Mapuça) river is a tributary of the River Mandovi in Goa, India. The river originates from the jungles of Dumacem and Amthane, meanders eastward and then southward before it drains itself in the Mandovi river at Penha de France. Mapusa River has separated Corjuem from mainland Aldona. The river has since ancient times been used a popular waterway to transport agricultural products and spices. The town of Mapusa is the largest town located on the banks of the river.

District Institute of Education and Training Ground
District Institute of Education and Training Ground is a cricket ground in Porvorim, Goa, India. The first recorded match held on the ground came in November 2008 when Goa Under-16s played Kerala Under-16s. Two first-class matches have been played at the ground, the first of which came in the 2011-11 Ranji Trophy. The first saw Goa play Jharkhand, while the second saw Tripura as the visitors. The Goa Cricket Academy is based at the ground.

The first recorded match held on the ground came in 1966 when Gujarat Governor's XI played Maharashtra Governor's XI. The first first-class to be played there came in the 1986/87 Ranji Trophy when Goa played Tamil Nadu. Between the 1986/87 season and the 2005/06 season, the ground held 26 first-class matches.
