Lake Balaton
Lake Balaton, or The Balaton, is a freshwater lake in the Transdanubian region of Hungary. It is the largest lake in Central Europe, and one of its foremost tourist destinations. The Zala River provides the largest inflow of water to the lake, and the canalized Sió is the only outflow. The mountainous region of the northern shore is known both for its historic character and as a major wine region, while the flat southern shore is known for its resort towns.
Balatonfüred
Balatonfüred is a popular resort town in Veszprém county, in Hungary, with a population of thirteen thousand, situated on the north shore of the Lake Balaton. It is considered to be the capital of the Northern lake shore and has significant yachting life. It is also a favorite location for coarse fishing, carp being the most common catch. The lake has been erroneously spoiled with eels and other non indigenous species which are on the decline.
Herend
Herend is a small town in Hungary, near the city of Veszprém. The history of the town goes back into Roman times, indicated by the findings near the precincts of the town, while in the Middle Ages a few villages occupied the area where the current town stands. After the Ottoman Turkish administration of Hungary, the then-village was largely emptied, but the Barren of Herend was repopulated between 1764 and 1847.

Paloznak
Paloznak is a village in the region of Balatonfüred, Veszprém county, Hungary. It was first mentioned in the Veszprém Valley Monastery's Deed of Gift around 970 a. D. According to archaeological findings the place was inhabited since 5000 years. According to the 2001 census, population is about 401 people (2008 estimation is 440). The village is famous about preserving the traditional settlement structure of the Balaton-highlands. Locals make a living from wine and tourism.

Géza Révesz Street Stadion (Hungarian: Révész Géza utcai stadion) is a multi-use stadium in Siófok, Hungary. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of BFC Siófok. The stadium is able to hold 10,500 people. The studium was named after Géza Révesz Street (Révész Géza utca) while the street was named after psychologist Géza Révész (1878-1955) born in Siófok.

Bodajk FC Siófok, or generally short BFC Siófok is a Hungarian football club based in Siófok, a small town on the shores of Lake Balaton. The club was founded in 1921 as Siófok SE (SE = abbr. f. Sport Club). The component Bodajk in the club's name stems from a merger (probably rather take-over by) with Bodajk FC in 2005. The colours of the club are yellow and blue. BFC Siófok plays its home matches in the Révesz Géza Stadion which has a capacity of 10 500.

Balaton Sound
Balaton Sound (also known as Heineken Balaton Sound for sponsorship reasons) is one of Europe's largest open air electronic music festivals. Held annually since 2007 on the southern bank of Lake Balaton, Hungary, it features live acts and DJ's from all around the world, from established artists to new names. The event was co-created by the organizers of Sziget Festival.
Balaton Uplands National Park
In 1997 a protected ecological system embracing the adjoining area of the Balaton Uplands was established with the connection of the already protected areas which had been separate for a long time. The area of 56 997 hectares of the Balaton-felvidéki National Park mainly consists of these six landscape protection areas.
