Kecskemét
Kecskemét is a city in the central part of Hungary. It is the 8th largest city in the country, and the county seat of Bács-Kiskun. Kecskemét lies halfway between the capital Budapest and the country's third-largest city, Szeged, 86 kilometres from both of them and almost equal distance from the two big rivers of the country, the Danube and the Tisza. It is the northern of two centres of the Hungarian Southern Great Plain region; the southern centre is Szeged, the seat of Csongrád county.
Kecskemét City Hall
The Kecskemét City Hall is the house of the main administration of the city of Kecskemét, Bács-Kiskun County, Hungary. It was built in 1893. The building was designed by Ödön Lechner and Gyula Pártos. The decoration of the building, which consists of Zsolnay tile patterns inspired by old Magyar and Turkic folk art, was the start of the National Romanticism movement, which culminated in the Museum of Applied Arts in Budapest.

Széktói Stadion
Széktói Stadion is a multi-use stadium in Kecskemét, Hungary. It is currently used mostly for football and rugby matches and is the home stadium of Kecskeméti TE of the Hungarian National Championship I and of Kecskeméti Atlétika és Rugby Club of the Nemzeti Bajnokság I. With 4,300 seats, and standing room for 2,000, the stadium is able to hold 6,300 spectators.
Helvecia level crossing disaster
The Helvecia level crossing disaster occurred at Helvecia, Hungary on January 30, 1973. A commuter train smashed into a regular route bus which was weaving around the half boom barriers. At least thirty-seven people were killed and eighteen people were injured.
