Guyana Zoo

Guyana Zoo (officially Guyana Zoological Park) is a zoo located in Georgetown, the capital of Guyana. The zoo officially opened in 1952, but its grounds had been used as botanical gardens since 1895. St. Joseph Mercy Hospital

Bishops' High School, Guyana

The Bishops' High School is ranked as one of best secondary schools in Georgetown, Guyana. It was established in 1870 by the Anglican Church as a ladies' school. National Cultural Centre (Guyana)

The National Cultural Centre, the premier auditorium for cultural presentations in Guyana, is located on Homestretch Avenue, D’Urban Park, in Georgetown. It rises 62 feet, is 240 feet long and 115 feet wide, and seats about 2,000 people. Its stage is 48 feet deep with an orchestra pit, and has a 72-foot wide and 20-foot high opening.
