Geography of Greenland
Greenland is located between the Arctic Ocean and the North Atlantic Ocean, northeast of Canada and northwest of Iceland. The country comprises the island of Greenland - the largest island in the world - and more than a hundred other smaller islands (see). Greenland has no land boundaries and 44,087 km of coastline. A sparse population is confined to small settlements along the coast. Greenland possesses the world's second largest ice sheet.
Nuuk
Nuuk, is the capital of Greenland and the largest city in Greenland. It is the seat of the Government of Greenland. Its present name is the Kalaallisut for "Cape", from its position at the end of the Nuup Kangerlua fjord on the eastern shore of the Labrador Sea. Nuuk is the largest cultural and economic center in Greenland. The major cities closest to the capital are Iqaluit and St. John's in Canada and Reykjavík in Iceland. Nuuk is the seat of government for the Sermersooq municipality.

Nuuk Art Museum is an museum in Greenland, located in Nuuk, the capital. The museum contains a notable collection of paintings, watercolors, drawings and graphics, figures in soapstone, ivory, and wood, with many items collected by the businessman Svend Junge. Of particular note is a collecitons of over 150 paintings by Emanuel A. Petersen. Founded in 2005, the museum occupies a former Adventist Church building.

Qernertunnguit is a neighborhood of Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. It is part of the Quassussuup Tungaa district, located in the northwestern part of the town, facing the Nuup Kangerlua fjord.

Quassussuup Tungaa is a district of Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. Together with the Qernertunnguit neighborhood, it is located in the northwestern part of the town, facing the Nuup Kangerlua fjord.
Blok P
Blok P was the largest residential building in Nuuk, as well as the largest in all of Greenland . It contained around 320 apartments and it is said that approximately 1% of the total population of the entire country lived in the building. The building was knocked down 19th October 2012.
Hans Egede Church
Hans Egede Church is an evangelical Lutheran church in Nuuk, Greenland, located in the district of Old Nuuk. The church was consecrated on the 250-year anniversary of the founding of Hans Egede's mission. It is a wooden structure, named after Danish-Norwegian missionary Hans Egede. The organ of the church is a 10-stop Frobenius organ from 1971.
Nuuk Port and Harbour
Nuuk Port and Harbour is the largest port in Greenland. It is located in the southeastern area of the city of Nuuk known as Old Nuuk. The harbour entrance is restricted due to the tide and ice during much of the year.
