Faliraki
Faliraki is the primary seaside resort village on the Greek island of Rhodes, in the Dodecanese. It is situated on Faliraki Bay, on the northeastern coast, about 14 km south of the town of Rhodes and 10 km southeast of the airport. It is part of the municipality Kallithea.
Koskinou
Koskinou is a village on the Greek island of Rhodes. It is located 5 miles from Rhodes town and 6 miles from the island resort of Faliraki. Koskinou is famous for its unique traditional houses decorated with bright, vibrant colours. There is a major festival on July 17th when the village celebrates the name day of St. Marina with customary music and dancing. The village is part of the Kallitea-Rhodes Municipality.

Acropolis of Rhodes
The Acropolis of Rhodes is an acropolis dating from the Hellenistic period (3rd–2nd century BC) 3 kilometers from the centre of Rhodes, in the island with the same name, Greece. The partially reconstructed part of the site consists of the "Temple of Apollo" below which is a stadium and a small theatre. It is included in a large park, Monte Smith, named for English Napoleonic admiral William Sidney Smith.
Aquarium of Rhodes
The Aquarium of Rhodes is a research centre, aquarium and museum in Rhodes, Greece. It was built in the 1930, when the island was under the Italian rule. The building an Art deco design by the Italian architect Armando Bernabiti, was constructed between 1934 and 1935. It was first named the Reale Istituto di Ricerce Biologiche di Rodi (Royal Biological Research Institute of Rhodes). In 1945, when Italian rule ended, it was renamed the "Hellenic Hydrobiological Institute".

Damatria is a village on Greek island of Rhodes, located on the west coast, about 20 km far from the capital. It's a part of the Municipality of Petaloudes. It has a population of only 489 people. Damatria is believed to be the only village of Rhodes dating back to the Dorian era in the 11th century B.C. Excavations in the surrounding area have confirmed continuous habitation for over 3,000 years.

226 BC Rhodes earthquake
The Rhodes earthquake of 226 BC, which affected the island of Rhodes, Greece, is famous for having toppled the large statue known as the Colossus of Rhodes. Following the earthquake, the statue lay in place for nearly eight centuries before being sold off by invaders. While 226 BC is most often cited as the date of the quake, sources variously cite 226 or 227 BC as dates when it occurred.
