Peloponnese
The Peloponnese, Peloponnesos, or Peloponnesus is a large peninsula, located in a region of southern Greece, forming the part of the country south of the Gulf of Corinth. During the late Middle Ages and the Ottoman era, the peninsula was known as the Morea (Greek: Μωρέας, colloq. Μωριάς), a name still in colloquial use. Agios Floros
Agios Floros is a village and a community in the municipal unit of Arfara, Messenia, southern Greece. The community consists of the villages Agios Floros and Christofilaiika. It is located on the National Road 7 Kalamata - Corinth, about 20 km north of Kalamata. The population of the community was 302 in 2001, of which 253 in Agios Floros proper and 49 in Christofilaiika.

Kalamata International Airport (Greek: Κρατικός Αερολιμένας Καλαμάτας) "Captain Vassilis Constantakopoulos" is an airport in the city of Kalamata, Greece. It mainly receives charter flights during the summer. The airport is located between Kalamata and Messene on GR-82 (Pylos - Kalamata - Sparta) and west of the train tracks on the Pamisos River plain. The runway is about 2.7 km long and runs from north to south from the highway north to the plain.

The Cleomenean War (229/228–222 BC) was fought by Sparta and its ally, Elis, against the Achaean League and Macedon. The war ended in a Macedonian and Achaean victory.
