Giona, Xanthi
Giona (Greek: Γκιώνα, previously known as Giouveiler) is a settlement in the Xanthi regional unit of Greece, part of the community of Avdira. It is located 9 kilometers northwest of Avdira, 9 kilometers northwest of Magiko, 11 kilometers northeast of Genisea, 7 kilometers west of Exochi, 4 kilometers east southeast of Pezoula, and 18.2 kilometers from Xanthi. Archaeological Museum of Abdera
The Archaeological Museum of Abdera is a museum in Abdera, Greece. The museum houses archaeological artefacts found in the city which date from around 7th century BC to 13th century AD. The museum was established in January 2000 and the building was designed by the architects Y. Polychroniou and N. Filippidis of the Directorate of Museum Studies of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture. The exhibition is displayed in three thematic entities.
