Karipeion Melathron
Karipeio Melathro is an Ottoman-period historical building in the center of Thessaloniki, Greece. It is located in the crossroad of Olympiados and F. Dragoumi streets. Its architect is the Italian Vitaliano Pozzeli. Karipio was the official residence of the then Selanik Prefect, who was the political representative of the Ottoman Empire in Macedonia. After Thessaloniki became part of Greece in 1912, the building became a property of the Greek State.

It is housed in the renovated building of the old Lazariston Monastery in the Borough of Stavroupoulis in west Thessaloniki.
Zeitenlik
Zeitenlik is an Allied military cemetery in Thessaloniki, Greece. It contains the graves mostly of the Serbian (more than 8000) but also of French, English and Russian soldiers who died in the battles on the Salonika front during World War I. The complex is located on the place where the Main Hospital of the Serbian Army was located during the war. The name comes from the Turkish word Zeytin which means Olive. It can be translated as Olive plantation.
Makedonikos Stadium
Makedonikos Ground (Γήπεδο Μακεδονικού) is a football stadium located in Thessaloniki, Greece. It is home to Makedonikos FC football club. The stadium was also used by Iraklis FC for two seasons when the Kaftanzoglio Stadium was under renovation for Athens 2004 Olympics. For that reason, during 2002, it was upgraded to meet Greece 1st division standards. In 5 June 1983, its record attendance was set with 9,422 attendants for the match Makedonikos FC vs Olympiacos CFP.
Heptapyrgion (Thessaloniki)
The Heptapyrgion, modern Eptapyrgio (Επταπύργιο), also popularly known by its Ottoman Turkish name Yedi Kule (Γεντί Κουλέ), is a Byzantine and Ottoman-era fortress situated on the north-eastern corner of the acropolis of Thessaloniki in Greece. Despite its name, which in both languages means "Fortress of Seven Towers", it features ten, and was probably named after the Yedikule Fortress in Constantinople.
Church of Hosios David
The Church of Hosios David is a late 5th-century church in Thessaloniki, Greece. In Byzantine times, it functioned as the katholikon of the Latomos Monastery, and received a rich mosaic and fresco decoration, which was renewed in the 12th–14th centuries. The surviving examples are of high artistic quality. Under Ottoman rule, the building was converted into a mosque (probably in the 16th century), until it was reconsecrated as a Greek Orthodox church in 1921, receiving its present name.
Church of Prophet Elijah (Thessaloniki)
The Church of Prophet Elijah (Greek: Ναός Προφήτη Ηλία) is a 14th-century church in Thessaloniki, Greece, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church is located in the upper quarter of the old city, and dates to the Palaiologan period, but its original dedication is unknown. In Ottoman times, it was known as the Saraylı Mosque, and through a misinterpretation of this name came about its modern dedication to the Prophet Elijah.

The Church of Saint Catherine is a late Byzantine church in the northwestern corner of the old city of Thessaloniki, Greece. The church dates to the Palaiologan period, but its exact dating and original dedication are unknown. From its interior decoration, which survives in fragments and is dated to ca. 1315, it has been suggested that it was the katholikon of the Monastery of Christ Almighty. It was converted to a mosque by Yakup Pasha in the reign of the Ottoman sultan Bayezid II (r.
