State Museum of Contemporary Art
The Thessaloniki State Museum of Contemporary Art (Greek: Κρατικό Μουσείο Σύγχρονης Τέχνης) is a state museum based in Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece. It was founded in 1997, at the occasion of Thessaloniki's year as European Capital of Culture. It is housed in the renovated building of the old Lazariston Monastery in the Borough of Stavroupoulis in west Thessaloniki.

Railway Museum of Thessaloniki
The Railway Museum of Thessaloniki is a museum in Eleftherio-Kordelio, a municipality of the city of Thessaloniki, Central Macedonia, Greece. It was founded in 2001 and is housed in the old Military Railway Station A of the Thessaloniki-Constantinople Railway, near the current TX-3 signalbox. This historic station was built in 1891–1894 by the Italian architect Pierro Arigoni.
Port of Thessaloniki
The Port of Thessaloniki is one of the largest Greek seaports and one of the largest ports in the Aegean Sea basin, with a total annual traffic capacity of 16 million tonnes. As a free port, it also functions as a major gateway for the Balkan hinterland and southeastern Europe. The Port of Thessaloniki also contains the second largest container port in Greece, after the Port of Piraeus.
Zeitenlik
Zeitenlik is an Allied military cemetery in Thessaloniki, Greece. It contains the graves mostly of the Serbian (more than 8000) but also of French, English and Russian soldiers who died in the battles on the Salonika front during World War I. The complex is located on the place where the Main Hospital of the Serbian Army was located during the war. The name comes from the Turkish word Zeytin which means Olive. It can be translated as Olive plantation.
Thessaloniki–Svilengrad railway
The Thessaloniki–Svilengrad railway is an about 620 km long railway connecting Thessaloniki in Greece with Svilengrad in Bulgaria, via the cities Serres and Alexandroupoli. At the Strymonas station there is a connection towards Sofia, and at Pythio there is a connection towards Istanbul. As of 2012 there is only passenger service on the section in Greece, between Thessaloniki and Dikaia, as the international services to Sofia and Istanbul have been suspended.
New Railway Station, Thessaloniki
The New Railway Station of Thessaloniki (Greek: Νέος Σιδηροδρομικός Σταθμός Θεσσαλονίκης, Neos Sidirodromikos Stathmos Thessalonikis) is the central passenger railway station of Thessaloniki, Greece. Completed in 1961, the passenger station replaced the old and much smaller passenger station which now handles the city's cargo rail, hence the name "new railway station" which has stayed on since.
Thessaloniki–Bitola railway
The railway from Thessaloniki to Bitola is a 219-kilometre long railway line, that connects the port city Thessaloniki in Greece with Bitola in the Republic of Macedonia, via Veroia, Edessa, Amyntaio and Florina. The line was opened in 1894, when the area was part of the Ottoman Empire. The part between the Greek/Macedonian border and Bitola is not used anymore, and as of 2012 there is only passenger service on the section between Thessaloniki and Edessa.
