Hellenic Navy
The Hellenic Navy (HN) (Greek: Πολεμικό Ναυτικό, Polemikó Naftikó, abbreviated ΠΝ) is the naval force of Greece, part of the Greek Armed Forces. The modern Greek navy has its roots in the naval forces of various Aegean Islands, which fought in the Greek War of Independence. During the periods of monarchy (1833–1924 and 1936–1973) it was known as the Royal Navy (Βασιλικόν Ναυτικόν, Vasilikón Naftikón, abbreviated ΒΝ).

Piraeus station refers to two railway termini in the city of Piraeus, Greece, approximately 9 km south-west of the centre of Athens. The northern building is the railway termini for standard gauge railway services on the main axis to Eidomeni via Larisa and Thessaloniki, and the Proastiakos to Airport or Acharnes Junction.

The Hellenic Naval Academy (Greek: Σχολή Ναυτικών Δοκίμων, lit. "School of Naval Cadets") is a military academy with university status and has the responsibility to educate and suitably train competent Naval Officers for the Hellenic Navy. Its full name is Hellenic Naval Cadets Academy and was founded in 1845. The academy is one of the oldest educational institutions in Greece. The academy educates Deck and Engineering Naval cadets.

Piraeus–Platy railway
The railway from Piraeus to Platy is an important Greek 471-kilometre long railway line, that connects the Athens agglomeration to northern Greece and the rest of Europe. Its northern end is the station of Platy, on the Thessaloniki–Bitola railway. The line passes through Thebes and Larissa, and offers connections to several other cities through branch lines.
