Tennis at the 2004 Summer Olympics
Tennis at the 2004 Summer Olympics took place on ten separate courts at the Olympic Tennis Centre. The surface was hardcourt, specifically DecoTurf. 172 players competed in 4 events. 2004 saw more of the top ranked players appearing, as this tournament saw world ranking points allocated to the players for the first time. Martina Navratilova made her first appearance at the Olympic Games where she partnered with Lisa Raymond in the ladies doubles event.
Athens Olympic Sports Complex
The Olympic Athletic Center of Athens "Spiros Louis" or OACA, is a sport facilities complex located at Marousi, northeast Athens, Greece. The complex consists of five major venues as well as other supplementary sport facilities. The Olympic Athletic Center of Athens has hosted the Mediterranean Games in 1991, the World Championship in Athletics in 1997 as well as other important athletic and cultural events.
Galatsi Olympic Hall
The Galatsi Olympic Hall is an indoor arena in Athens, Greece. It is located in Galatsi and it was the site of table tennis and rhythmic gymnastics at the 2004 Summer Olympics. The arena was completed in May 2004 and officially opened on July 30, 2004, shortly before the beginning of the Olympics. The Galatsi Olympic Hall had a seating capacity of 8,000. After the Olympics, the Hall served as the home court of AEK Athens before the team moved to the Olympic Indoor Hall.

The Olympic Stadium "Spiros Louis" (Greek: Ολυμπιακό Στάδιο "Σπύρος Λούης", Olympiakó Stádio "Spiros Louis") is part of the Athens Olympic Sports Complex. It is named after the first modern Olympic marathon race winner in 1896, Spiros Louis.

The Olympic Tennis Centre is a grouping of 16 tennis courts at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex. It hosted the tennis matches at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece.
Athens Olympic Velodrome
The Olympic Velodrome is a stadium at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, built in 1991 for the Mediterranean Games. It was extensively refurbished in order to host the track cycling events at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. The stadium, which seats 5,250 - though only 3,300 seats were made publicly available for the games - has distinctive twin roofs covering the stands on each side, designed by Santiago Calatrava. The track, made of Afzelia wood, is 250 m. long and 7.5 m. wide.
Athens Olympic Aquatic Centre
The Olympic Aquatic Centre is a complex at the Athens Olympic Sports Complex, consisting of two outdoor pools and one indoor pool, that was built for the 1991 Mediterranean Games. It was refurbished and expanded for the 2004 Summer Olympics. The larger of the outdoor pools, which seats 11,500 spectators, hosted swimming and water polo events. The smaller pool, which hosted synchronized swimming, sat 5,300 fans. The indoor pool, which hosted the diving events, sat 6,200 observers.
O.A.C.A. Olympic Indoor Hall
The O.A.C.A. Olympic Indoor Hall (also known simply as the Indoor Hall or the Olympic Sports Hall) which is part of the Olympic Athletic Center of Athens (O.A.C.A. ) "Spiros Louis", was completed in 1995 and was the largest indoor venue in use for sporting events at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. It is located in the suburb of Maroussi. It is considered to be one of the biggest and most modern indoor sports arenas in all of Europe. In Greece it is known as the O.A.K.A.
Kifisias Avenue
Kifisias Avenue is one of the longest avenues in the Greater Athens area, Greece. Its total length is about 20 km, beginning 4 km northeast of downtown Athens and ending by the municipal boundary of Nea Erythraia north of Kifisia. The total amount of lanes is three, up to Kifisia, then two through Kifissia, before it turns to a one lane (per direction) road for the rest of its length.
The Mall Athens
The Mall Athens is a shopping mall in Athens, Greece. It was the first of the kind to be constructed in Greece and one of the largest shopping and leisure centres in Southeastern Europe. The Mall Athens is located close to the Athens Olympic Stadium in the suburb of Maroussi and was opened to the public on November 25, 2005.

Goulandris Natural History Museum
The Goulandris Museum of Natural History is a museum in Kifisia, a northeastern suburb of Athens, Greece. It was founded by Angelos Goulandris and Niki Goulandris in 1965 in order to promote interest in the natural sciences, to raise the awareness of the public, in general, and in particular to call its attention to the need to protect Greece's natural wildlife habitats and species in the danger of extinction.
Nerantziotissa station
Nerantziotissa station is a complex of two train stations located in Maroussi, Greece, a northern suburb of Athens. The first is a station of the Athens Metro and the second is a suburban railway station. Its name comes from an old Byzantine church, Panagia Nerantziotissa (Παναγία Νεραντζιώτισσα), located nearby. Nerantziotissa station was built for the 2004 Olympic Games. The station is near the Mall, a large US-style shopping centre. It is also close to Athens Olympic Sports Complex.

The Nea Ionia station is an ISAP train station in Nea Ionia, Greece several kilometres north of Athens. It is marked at the 17.923 km from the starting point in Piraeus. It was also a train station that served from Lavriou Square and Strofyli ran by the Attica Railways, it was spotted at km 7.340 from Lavriou Square.
Irakleio station
The Irakleio (Greek: Σταθμός Ηρακλείου - Stathmos Irakleiou) is an ISAP train station in Irakleio, Attica, Greece, a suburb to the north of Athens. It is marked at the 19,246 km from the starting point in Piraeus. Initially the station served the Athens–Lavrion Railway and Lavrion Square-Strofyli railway, ran by the Attica Railways. From 1929 the Lavrion branch was operated by Piraeus, Athens and Peloponnese Railways.
Eirini station
Eirini or Irini station is an ISAP metro station in Ano Maroussi, Greece several kilometres north of Athens and is next to the Olympic Complex. It is marked at the 20.850 kilometres from the starting point in Piraeus. The station is named after the Greek word for peace (ειρήνη) in which it is the pure symbol of sports and world peace. In the same spot, the present ISAP station was opened on March 4, 1957, and uses the same name.

Marousi station (Greek: Σταθμός Μαρουσίου - Stathmos Marousiou) is on Athens Metro Line 1, in Marousi, Greece, several kilometres north of Athens. It is marked at the 23.457 km from the starting point in Piraeus. In the same spot, the present ISAP station was opened on March 4, 1957 and was renovated in 2004. It features two platforms. It sits in the older train station of Attica Railways with an homonymous name.
KAT metro station
KAT station (Greek: Σταθμός ΚΑΤ or Stathmos KAT) is an Athens Metro train station in Kifissia, Greece, next to the Traumatic Recovery Center (KAT), from which it derives its name. The station is situated several kilometres north of Athens and 24.631 km from the starting point in Piraeus. The station was opened on March 27, 1989, and was renovated in 2004. It contains two platforms.

The Kifisia station (Greek: Σταθμός Κηφισιάς - Stathmos Kifisias) is an ISAP train station in Kifisia, Greece and is also the northernmost station. The station is situated several kilometres north of Athens and is marked at the 25.655 km from the starting point in Piraeus. The station was opened on August 10, 1957 and was renovated in 2004, it features only one platform and has an aisle.

The Spathario Shadow Theatre Museum is a museum in Maroussi, Athens, Greece. It exhibits mostly shadow puppet artifacts and it is named after prominent Greek puppet shadow artist Evgenios Spatharis. It was established in 1991 in the municipality of Maroussi and opened in 1996.

Sismanogleio General Hospital
Sismanogleio General Hospital (Γενικό Νοσοκομείο Σισμανόγλειο) in Vrilissia, Athens is one of the largest public hospitals in Greece. Its name in Katharevousa is Sismanogleion (Σισμανόγλειον). During the 2009 swine flu outbreak Seismanogleion treated the first swine flu patient in Greece.
Kifisias Avenue station
The Kifisias Avenue Rail Station is a railway station located on Kifisias Avenue in Marousi, Greece. The station is served by Proastiakos trains. It is on the Athens Airport - Kiato Line. It was first opened on July 30, 2004. It is located in the middle of Attiki Odos/number 6 below the circle interchange and Kifisia Avenue. The station should not be confused with the Kifisia station of ISAP, which is located in the suburb of Kifisia, further north.
