Lundtoft Municipality
Until January 1, 2007 Lundtoft was a municipality in South Jutland County on the east coast of the Jutland peninsula in south Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 137 km², and had a total population of 6,184 (2005). Its last mayor was Hans Philip Tietje, a member of the Venstre (Liberal Party) political party. The main town and the site of its municipal council was the town of Aabenraa, which it shared with neighboring Aabenraa Municipality.

Flensburg Firth
Flensburg Firth, is the westernmost inlet of the Baltic Sea. It forms part of the border between Germany to the south and Denmark to the north. Its length is either 40 or 50 km, depending to the definition of its limits. It has the largest surface of all Förden and East Jutland Fjorde, which are a special type of inlets, different from geological fjords.

Duborg-Skolen
Duborg-Skolen is a Danish gymnasium located in Flensburg, Germany. It is one of a number of schools operated by members of the Danish minority of Southern Schleswig, and it is the leading school for this community. The school teaches both Danish and German on a native-speaker level. All other topics are instructed in Danish. Duborg-Skolen was established in 1924 as a Danish realskole and in 1958 it was recognized as a gymnasium.

German submarine U-1234 was a German Type IXC/40 U-boat built during World War II for service in the Battle of the Atlantic. U-1234 was unusual for having sunk twice, once by accident and once as part of the great destruction of the remaining Kriegsmarine in the days before the surrender.
Southern Jutland
Southern Jutland is the name for the region south of the Kongeå in Jutland, Denmark. The region north of the Kongeå is called Nørrejylland (Northern Jutland). Both territories had their own ting assemblies in the Middle Ages. Southern Jutland is mentioned for the first time in the Knýtlinga saga. In the 13th century South Jutland became a duchy. The first duke was Canute Lavard (Knud Lavard). In the late 14th century it took the name of the Duchy of Schleswig.

Padborg
Padborg is a Danish border town with a population of 4,476 (1 January 2012) located on the border with Germany. It is the location where both the E45 motorway, a railway and the historic Danish Army Road, hærvejen, cross the border. Located a few kilometres northwest of Schleswig's historic commercial centre, Flensburg, Padborg was a small settlement when the region returned to Danish rule in 1920 following a plebiscite, but grew rapidly in size after the establishment of the current border.
Naval Academy at Mürwik
The Naval Academy at Mürwik is the main training establishment for all German Navy officers and replaced the German Imperial Naval Academy in Kiel. It is located at Mürwik which is a part of Germany's most northern city, Flensburg. Built on a small hill directly by the coast, it overlooks the Flensburg Fjord. Hence its beautiful architecture and location the academy is often named the "Red Castle By The Sea".

Flensburger Brauerei
Flensburger Brauerei is a brewery located in Flensburg in the Bundesland (federal state) of Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. It is one of the last country-wide operating breweries not being part of a larger brewery group. The company was founded on September 6th, 1888 by five citizens of Flensburg. Today it is still mainly held by the founder families Petersen and Dethleffsen.

University of Flensburg
The University of Flensburg (German Universität Flensburg) is a university in the city of Flensburg, Germany. It was founded in 1994 and is the northernmost university in Germany. Although having full university status and the right to award PhDs, the University of Flensburg offers mainly courses in education and other fields of social sciences.
Kruså
Kruså is a Danish border town and border crossing with a population of 1,655 (1 January 2011), six kilometers north of Flensburg, situated on the European route E45. It is located in Aabenraa Municipality. On April 9, 1940, at 4:15 am German troops crossed the border here beginning the invasion of Denmark. Until the opening of the freeway border crossing at Frøslev Kruså was the most important crossing over land to Germany.
Glücksburg Castle
Glücksburg Castle is a castle in the town of Glücksburg, Germany. It is one of the most important Renaissance castles in northern Europe. It is the seat of the House of Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg and was also used by the Danish kings. Situated on the Flensburg Fjord the castle is now a museum owned by a foundation, and is no longer inhabited by the ducal family.
Padborg Station
Padborg Station is a railway station in the Danish town of Padborg in the southern part of Jutland. It is the last Danish train station before the border with Germany which lies immediately south of the station, on the route to Flensburg. The extensive station building has no booking office (self-service ticket machines available) but has a waiting room and toilet facilities.

Flensburg station
Flensburg station is the main station of the city of Flensburg in the German state of Schleswig-Holstein. Lines run from it to Kiel, to Hamburg via Schleswig and Neumünster and to Fredericia in Denmark. Since the timetable change on 9 December 2007, Flensburg has been connected to Deutsche Bahn's Intercity-Express network. The station also handles cross-border rail traffic between Germany and Denmark.
German submarine U-1308
U-1308 was the last Type VII/41 submarine to be laid down, launched and commissioned by the German Kriegsmarine during World War II. The Oberkommando der Marine or OKM, (the German naval high command), had decided near the end of World War II to put all of its resources into building newer types of Unterseeboot, such as the types XXI and XXIII. U-1308 was part of a batch of eight U-boats (U-1301 to U-1308) ordered on 1 August 1942 to be built at Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft, Flensburg .

Eissporthalle Gletscher
The Eissporthalle Gletscher, is a German Icesport arena, which lies in Kupfermühle, near the border between Germany and Denmark. The EIssporthalle Gletscher was the home arena of the Flensburger EC. The arena belongs to the Hotel des Nordens and the Danish Fleegard-Group. Built in 1983, the arena is mostly used by ice skaters. The arena can be use from 1. November til 1. April every year. In the years of 1985 til 2004 Flemsburgs Ice Hockey Team played it leagues matches at "Gletscherhalle".
