Kiel Transmission Tower
The Fernmeldeturm Kiel (Telecommunication Tower Kiel) is a modern landmark of Kiel in Germany, completed in 1975. The 230 metre high tower, which is used for directional services and TV-, VHF- and UHF-transmission is not accessible to the public. The basket of this tower, which belongs to German Telekom Inc. has a diameter of 40 metres. The tower is actually the highest point in Schleswig-Holstein, with the highest natural feature in the entire state being the Bungsberg at 168 metres.

Ehndorf transmitter is a mediumwave radio transmission mast located at Ehndorf, a village west of Neumünster in Schleswig-Holstein, Federal Republic of Germany. Owned by Deutsche Telekom, the facility broadcasts Deutschlandfunk on 1269 kHz (1268 kHz until 1978). It went in service in November 1967 at a power of 600 kW (then one of the highest powered transmitters in Europe), reduced to 300 kW in 1995. It can be heard across northwest Europe.

The Kieler Nachrichten (literally "Kiel News") or KN is the only German language newspaper published in Kiel, Germany. It is published by "Kieler Zeitung Verlags und Druckerei KG-GmbH & Co. ", a subdivision of Axel Springer AG which owns 24.5 percent of the company. The newspaper's office is located at Asmus-Bremer-Platz between Holstenstraße and the Kiel city hall. Einfelder See
Einfelder See is a lake in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. At an elevation of 26.79 m, its surface area is 1.78 km². It is located in the northern suburb of Neumünster and in the Kreis Rendsburg-Eckernförde. The lake is located on a water water divide of the rivers Stör and Eider. Most of the water originates from groundwater and precipitation, only a small portion reaches the lake from the adjacent Dosenmoor. On the west side of the lake, the nature reserve Westufer Einfelder See is located.
