Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg

The Otto-von-Guericke University Magdeburg was founded in 1993 and is one of the youngest universities in Germany. The university in Magdeburg has about 14,000 students in nine faculties. Jahrtausendturm

Jahrtausendturm is, at 60 metres, the third highest wooden tower in the world, after the radio towers in Rottenbuch (Germany) and Gliwice (Poland). It was established on the occasion of the Bundesgartenschau 1999 in the Magdeburger Elbauenpark in Magdeburg, Germany. The tower houses an exhibition on the development of sciences, which is supported by many descriptive experiments with which the visitor can interact.

GETEC Arena

Ernst Grube Stadium
