Michaelstein Abbey
Michaelstein Abbey (Kloster Michaelstein) is a former Cistercian monastery, now the home of the Stiftung Kloster Michaelstein - Musikinstitut für Aufführungspraxis ("Michaelstein Abbey Foundation - Music Institute for Performance"), near the town of Blankenburg in the Harz in Sachsen-Anhalt, Germany.
Blankenburg Castle (Harz)
Great Blankenburg Castle was built on the limestone hill of Blankenstein in the town of Blankenburg in the district of Harz in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt. Nearby is the Little Castle with its baroque garden, tea house and museum, the town wall, the pheasant garden, the castle park and the castle pond.
Luisenburg (Harz)
The Luisenburg was a small palace that existed from 1728 to 1945 near Blankenburg (Harz) in central Germany. It was built in 1728 on the Calviusberg hilltop above Blankenburg Castle as a belvedere for Duchess Christine Louise of Brunswick, and was named after her. The Luisenburg was a single-storey timber-framed building with an octagonal hall surrounded by eight small rooms. In 1945 it was demolished due to its advanced state of dilapidation.

The Wilhelm Raabe Tower is one of the few surviving Kaiser towers. It is located on the Eichenberg hill near Blankenburg on the edge of the Harz Mountains of central Germany. It is owned by the Harz Club branch in Blankenburg.
Bielstein Tunnel
The Bielstein Tunnel is a disused railway tunnel in Saxony-Anhalt in the Harz Mountains of Central Germany. The tunnel is 465.7 metres long and lies between the zig zag of Michaelstein and Braunesumpf. It belonged to the Erzstufen Railway and, from 1885, to the Harz Railway (today the Rübeland Railway). During the construction of the Harz Railway the tunnel profile was widened and Braunesumpf station laid out.
Ziegenberg (Saxony-Anhalt)
The Ziegenberg is a low ridge between the villages of Benzingerode and Heimburg on the northern edge of the Harz Mountains in central Germany. The ridge is a designated nature reserve. The reserve has an area of 88.4 hectares and has a variety of habitats including mesophytic grassland (Halbtrockenrasen), bushes, pine woods and wet meadows. Its highest points are the eponymous Ziegenberg (315.7 metres above NN) and the Struvenberg
