Mansfelder Land (district)
Mansfelder Land was a district (Kreis) in the middle of Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Neighboring districts were (from north clockwise) Aschersleben-Staßfurt, Bernburg, Saalkreis, Merseburg-Querfurt, Sangerhausen and Quedlinburg. It was merged on July 1, 2007 with Sangerhausen into the new district Mansfeld-Südharz as part of a reform.
Nebra sky disk
The Nebra sky disk is a bronze disk of around 30 cm diameter and a weight of 2,2 kg, with a blue-green patina and inlaid with gold symbols. These are interpreted generally as a sun or full moon, a lunar crescent, and stars (including a cluster interpreted as the Pleiades). Two golden arcs along the sides, marking the angle between the solstices, were added later.

An der Finne is a Verbandsgemeinde ("collective municipality") in the Burgenlandkreis (district), in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. Before the 1 July 2009 local government reform, it was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft, covering the same area, but subdivided into more municipalities. It is named after the Finne, a range of hills between Lossa and Eckartsberga. It is situated approx. 20 km west of Naumburg, and 25 km northeast of Weimar. The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft is in Bad Bibra.

Laucha-Schwarzeiche was a Verwaltungsgemeinschaft ("collective municipality") in the Saalekreis district, in Saxony-Anhalt, Germany. It was situated southwest of Halle (Saale). The seat of the Verwaltungsgemeinschaft was in Schafstädt. It was disbanded in January 2008, and its member municipalities were incorporated by Bad Lauchstädt.
