Mainz Microtron
The Mainz Microtron, abbreviated MAMI, is an electron accelerator of the microtron type, in which electrons are accelerated to relativistic velocities. It is operated by the Institute for Nuclear Physics of the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz and located 10m to 15m directly below the Institute. Its purpose is the generation of polarized electron and photon beams. MAMI B, the third stage of MAMI, is the world's largest microtron as of 2006.
Mainz Sand Dunes
The Mainz Sand Dunes are a small geological and botanical supra-region and important nature preserve in Mainz, Germany. Within this protected area rare plants and animals can be found. Some of the species represented here, such as the Purple Golden-drop, grow only here and in small numbers. The sand dunes developed after the last ice age and the first resettlement of grassland plants occurred approximately 12,000 years ago.

Coface Arena
Coface Arena is a multi-purpose stadium in Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany that was opened in 2011. It is used for football matches and hosts the home matches of the German Bundesliga side Mainz 05. The stadium has a capacity of 34,034 people, of which 19,700 seated, and replaces the Bruchweg stadium, Stadion am Bruchweg. The architecture of the new stadium resembles the design of traditional English football stadiums with their high stands.
Port of Mainz
The Port of Mainz (or Mainzer Hafen in German) is the port of Mainz, Germany. Lying on the western bank of the Rhine river, it has a long history reaching back through the Middle Ages to Roman times. The modern port facilities, existing for approximately 120 years in their general environs, are located mostly to the north of the city proper, and will be extended to the north of their current location during the coming years to make space for a new residential area.

Mainz-Amöneburg
Mainz-Amöneburg is a district administered by the city of Wiesbaden, Germany. Mainz-Amöneburg was formerly a district of the city of Mainz, until the public administration by the city of Wiesbaden was decided on August 10, 1945. The reason for this had been the easy control of the Allied Occupation Zones in Germany, where the Rhine formed the border between the American sector and the French sector. Mainz-Amöneburg faces the city of Mainz on the opposite shore of the Rhine river.
Schierstein Bridge
The Schierstein Bridge is 1,282-meter long, four-lane highway bridge in Germany. It carries Bundesautobahn 643 over the Rhine River between Mainz-Mombach, Rhineland-Palatinate and Wiesbaden-Schierstein, Hesse (Rhine kilometrage 504.45). Crossing two arms of the Rhine and the intervening island of Rettbergsaue, the bridge is made of six individual structures, including 100 m from prestressed concrete. It was built between 1959 to 1962.
Botanischer Garten der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz
The Botanischer Garten der Johannes Gutenberg-Universität Mainz (10 hectares), also known as the Botanischer Garten Mainz, is an arboretum and botanical garden maintained by the University of Mainz. It is located on the university campus at Franz von Bentzel-Weg 9, Mainz, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany, and open daily. The garden was created between 1946-1955 on land formerly used as farmland and a military training ground.
Biebrich Palace

Mainz-Mombach station
Mainz-Mombach station is one of two railway stations in the suburb of Mombach of the German town of Mainz. Due to its central location it is the primary station of the suburb besides the halt “Waggonfabrik”. The station is a part of the West Rhine Railway and borders the Wye: Gleisdreieck Mainz, leading to the Kaiserbrücke (Mainz) and the main station Mainz. It is served by RegionalBahn and Mittelrheinbahn electrified standard gauge trains.

Wiesbaden Ost station
