Ratingen-Lintorf
Lintorf is a quarter in the northern part of the city Ratingen at the transition of the foreland of the Berg region into the lower Rhine plain. The elevation is 35 m above sea level. Population: 3,671 (1939), 14,954 (2003). Area: 16.85 km² (2003). Lintorf is on the Cologne-Ratingen-Duisburg line, which since 1985 has had no train stations.

Wedaustadion was a multi-purpose stadium in Duisburg, Germany. It was the home ground for MSV Duisburg until the club moved to the new MSV-Arena after the 2003-04 season. The stadium held 30,112. It was built in 1921 and was the second biggest stadium in Germany at the time.

Duisburg-Entenfang station
Duisburg-Entenfang is a railway station in southern Duisburg, Germany. It is the terminus of the RB37 RegionalBahn line and consists of little more than a tarmac platform just long enough to accommodate two DB Class 628 railcars and a timetable stand. The station was opened in 1982. The station lies on the eastern side of the freight sidings on the freight-only line to Düsseldorf. It is situated next to a small lake, after which the station is named.

Kalkum is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It is in the north of the city, neighboring to Kaiserswerth, Angermund, Wittlaer and Ratingen. Kalkum has been existing latest since the 12th century A.C.. The old church of Kalkum and the old mill are from that century. The Castle Kalkum was in earlier times the seat of the Hatzfelds. Before that castle was built, there was another castle from the middle age. Actually there is the state archive of North Rhine-Westphalia in the castle.

Wittlaer is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It borders Stockum, Kalkum, Angermund, and the city of Duisburg. It is close to Düsseldorf Airport. Wittlaer has the lowest point in Düsseldorf, where the Schwarzbach flows into the river Rhine. It is 28 m above sea level. The history of Wittlaer started at latest in the 12th century. For a long time it was an agricultural settlement. After World War II, Wittlaer grew as a suburb of Düsseldorf and Duisburg.

It is served by the S11 line. The station was opened in 1975 and was served by S-Bahn line S 7 until 13 December 2009, when line S 7 was closed and S 11 was extended to Düsseldorf Airport Terminal station.
Love Parade disaster
On 24 July 2010, a crowd disaster at the 2010 Love Parade electronic dance music festival in Duisburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, caused the death of 21 people from suffocation. At least 510 more were injured. The Love Parade was a popular and free access festival and parade that originated in 1989 in Berlin. The parade featured stages, but had floats with music, DJs and dancers moving through the audience.
Duisburg-Hochfeld Railway Bridge
The Duisburg–Hochfeld Railway Bridge spans the Rhine in the German city of Duisburg on the Duisburg-Ruhrort–Mönchengladbach line. The first bridge was built by the Rhenish Railway Company and put into operation at the end of 1873. It was replaced by a new bridge in 1927, which was badly damaged during the Second World War, but rebuilt and is still serves rail traffic between the Ruhr region and Aachen.

District 5 is a northern city district of Düsseldorf, the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Düsseldorf's International Airport is located in the district. It is the largest district by land area, but also the least populated. The district covers an area of 50,96 square kilometres and (as of December 2009) has about 32,500 inhabitants.

Duisburg-Großenbaum station is a station in the district of Großenbaum of the city of Duisburg in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the Cologne–Duisburg railway and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station. The station was opened on 9 February 1846 as Großenbaum. It was renamed Duisburg-Großenbaum on 14 May 1950. A station building was built in 1856, but it is now used as a cafe, called Gleis drei (track three).
