Drupa
Drupa is the largest printing equipment exhibition in the world, held every four years at Messe Düsseldorf in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The word Drupa is a portmanteau of the German words druck and papier; print and paper respectively. 390,044 visitors attended Drupa in 2008, and 1,953 exhibitors from 54 countries covered a total of 17.9 hectares of space. The next Drupa exhibition will take place in Düsseldorf from May 31 to June 10, 2016.
Rheinstadion
The Rheinstadion was a multi-purpose stadium, in Düsseldorf, Germany. The stadium was built, near the Rhine, in 1926 and held 55,900 people, at the end of its life. It was the home ground for Fortuna Düsseldorf from 1953–1970 and 1972–2002. It was used during the 1988 European Championships. Theodor Heuss Bridge (Düsseldorf)
The Theodor Heuss Bridge also known as the Nordbrücke (North bridge) is a cable-stayed bridge over the Rhine River in Düsseldorf built from 1953 to 1957 with a main span of 260 m flanked on either side by spans of 108 m . It was the first cable-stayed bridge built in Germany. Along with two other cable-stayed bridges to the south, the Oberkassel Bridge and the Knie Bridge, the Theodor Heuss Bridge forms the central leg of Düsseldorf's family of bridges over the Rhine.
Düsseldorf-Lohausen
Lohausen is an urban borough in the north of Düsseldorf, in neighbourhood to Stockum, Kaiserswerth, Unterrath, Wittlaer, the river Rhine and Ratingen. The airport of Düsseldorf is in Lohausen. Lohausen was written mentioned first time in 1147. It was one of the seats of the Knights of Kalcheim . Lohausen was a farming settlement for a long while. In the 19. century an industrialist bought the Castle of the Knights of Kalcheim and created a park.

Lichtenbroich is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It is in the north of the city, neighbouring to Lohausen, Mörsenbroich and the airport. The area Lichtenbroich was written mentioned first time in 1193. It belonged to the Knights of Kelcheim. Lichtenbroich was a swampy area, flooded often by the river Rhine. Until the beginning of the 20th century, there were no industrialisation, nearly no infrastructure and nearly no inhabitants in Lichtenbroich.
Düsseldorf-Stockum
Stockum is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It is located north of Unterrath and Golzheim, east of Kaiserswerth, west of Lohausen and the Düsseldorf Airport, south of Kalkum. Stockum has an area of 6.70 km² and 4,894 inhabitants. Stockum became a part of Düsseldorf in 1909. In 1971 the Düsseldorf Exhibition Center went to Stockum. It has 18 halls and an exhibition area of about 200,000 m². There is a huge park (Nordpark) in Stockum, too. In that park there is an aqua zoo and a Japanese garden.
Düsseldorf-Niederkassel
Niederkassel is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It is on the left side of the river Rhine, bordering to Oberkassel and Lörick. Niederkassel was together with Oberkassel and Lörick a part of Heerdt until Heerdt became a part of Düsseldorf in 1909. Niederkassel got its connection to Düsseldorf when the Oberkassel Bridge was opened in 1898. In the beginning of the 20th century Oberkassel and Niederkassel were places where a lot of artists lived.
Düsseldorf-Lörick
Lörick is an urban borough of Düsseldorf, Germany. It is located on the left side of the river Rhine, bordering to the river, Niederkassel, Heerdt and Meerbusch. Lörick was a small village belonging to the office of Heerdt until there was a connection via the Oberkassel Bridge to Düsseldorf in 1898. In 1909 Lörick became, together with Heerdt, a part of Düsseldorf. Lörick became a typical suburb.

New Synagogue (Düsseldorf)
The New Synagogue (German: Leo Baeck Saal) is the only synagogue of the Jewish community in Düsseldorf, Germany. The synagogue was built in the Golzheim district, far from the site of the former synagogue, which has been situated in the city center at Kasernenstraße. There the synagogue was pillaged and burned by SA men on Kristallnacht. The synagogue is named after Rabbi Leo Baeck, who served as a pulpit rabbi in Düsseldorf. On October 3, 2000 the synagogue was fire bombed.

The Largest Fair on the Rhine (German: Größte Kirmes am Rhein) is a fun fair in Düsseldorf, drawing more than 4 million visitors annually, is one of Germany’s biggest fun fairs. It takes place every third week in July on the left bank of the Rhine River, in the district Düsseldorf-Oberkassel, and features beer and food tents, amusement park rides, vendors, etc. as well as 9 days of various associated events and activities.

Düsseldorf Airport Terminal (Düsseldorf Flughafen Terminal) is an underground station on the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn at the end of the Düsseldorf-Unterrath–Düsseldorf Airport Terminal railway, situated underneath Terminal C of Düsseldorf International Airport, Düsseldorf in western Germany. It is served by the S11 line. The station was opened in 1975 and was served by S-Bahn line S 7 until 13 December 2009, when line S 7 was closed and S 11 was extended to Düsseldorf Airport Terminal station.
District 4, Düsseldorf
District 4 is a city district of Düsseldorf, the state capital of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It covers an area of 12,80 square kilometres and (as of December 2009) has about 40,000 inhabitants. District 4 is the city's only left-Rhenish district and its quarters are popular residential areas. Across the river, it shares borders with Düsseldorf districts 5, 1 and 3. West and South-west, the district is bordered by Rhein-Kreis Neuss and the city of Neuss.
