Brehmstraße
Brehmstraße is a street in Düsseldorf, Germany. It is primarily known for its arena Eisstadion an der Brehmstraße, which is primarily used for ice hockey and was the home arena of DEG Metro Stars, until season 2006/2007. The arena opened in 1935 and holds 10,285 people. Three World Championships of icehockey had taken place at the "Brehmstraße" in the 1950s, 1970s and 1980s. The DEG, today DEG Metro Stars won 8 German championships in that stadium (1967,1972,1975,1990,1991,1992,1993,1996).
Düsseldorf-Gerresheim
Gerresheim is one of the City of Düsseldorf, Germany's forty-nine boroughs. It is located in the eastern part of the municipality. Gerresheim is much older than Düsseldorf itself, having been an independent city with a rich history for over 1,000 years. Gerresheim merged voluntarily with Düsseldorf in 1909. The borough had 28,209 inhabitants and covered 6.47 square kilometers as of December 31, 2007.

Düsseltal is a borough of Düsseldorf with a fairly well-off population and developed around an old convent. It is also known as Düsseldorf-Zoo, because, until 1943, there was a zoological garden in Düsseltal. The word Düsseltal is German for the valley of the river Düssel.

Flingern is a former blue-collar borough of Düsseldorf. Located northeast of Düsseldorf (proper), it is divided into two boroughs today: Flingern-Nord and Flingern-Süd. While Flingern-Nord has a younger population and is more attractive to middle-class families, Flingern-Süd is still mostly home to working-class people. Flingern was first mentioned in 1193 as a forested area that was ruled by the Knights Hayc of Flingern.

Rath is a borough in northern Düsseldorf District 6, near the airport, with 16,975 inhabitants (2000). It is about 5 km northeast of the city center.
ISS Dome
The ISS Dome is a multi-use indoor arena in Düsseldorf, Germany, it opened in 2006. The arena has a capacity of 12,500 people and 13,400 people for hockey matches. It is used mostly for ice hockey and basketball matches, as well as concerts. It is home team is the DEG Metro Stars. American rock band Pearl Jam played the venue on June 21, during their 2007 Tour, after the date was moved from the LTU Arena.

Derendorf is a borough of Düsseldorf, Germany. It is located north of Pempelfort and the central district, west of Rath, south of Kaiserswerth. Derendorf has an area of 3.3 km. About 5,000 people live there. The median age is about 43 years. Derendorf was mentioned as a settlement first time in 1100. In 1384 Derendorf became a part of Düsseldorf. There has been a slaughterhouse in Derendorf since 1602. The main growth of Derendorf was in the time of Industrial Revolution.
Paul-Janes-Stadion
The Paul-Janes-Stadion in Düsseldorf-Flingern is one of the home grounds of Fortuna Düsseldorf (1930-1972, early 2002-2005). It was built in 1930 by the team; now city-owned, it has been named since 1990 after the long-standing Düsseldorf and national football player Paul Janes. Before 1990 was it called "Flinger Broich" or "Fortunaplatz". After World War II, the British army took over the stadium. A storm in 1958 destroyed the corrugated iron roof.

Düsseldorf-Ludenberg
Ludenberg is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It borders on Gerresheim, Grafenberg, Hubbelrath and Rath. Until the beginning of the 19th century Ludenberg belonged to the mayors office of Gerresheim together with Erkrath, Vennhausen, Unterbach, Morp, Dorp and Bruchhausen. In 1852 the office of Gerresheim was divorced into Gerresheim-city and Gerresheim-countryside. So Ludenberg became an independent village with its own mayor.

Grafenberg is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It borders to Gerresheim, Ludenberg, Flingern and Düsseltal. Grafenberg is one of the smallest boroughs in Düsseldorf. It is a green area and an expensive place to live (but not as expensive as e.g. Oberkassel). In the western part of Grafenberg there are a lot of office buildings, congress centers etc. The main office of the Agentur für Arbeit for the region of Düsseldorf and the main seat of the Metro AG is in Grafenberg.

Lierenfeld is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It borders on Eller, Oberbilk, Flingern and Wersten. Lierenfeld was a conglomerate of homesteads when it became a part of Düsseldorf in 1384. For a long while Lierenfeld had an agricultural character. It changed in the time of the Industrial Revolution. It became mainly an industrial district. In the 1920s the city of Düsseldorf tried to develop it to a nicer living area with a garden settlement. But Lierenfeld is mainly still an industrial area.

Mörsenbroich is an urban borough of Düsseldorf. It borders on Unterrath, Rath, Derendorf, Grafenberg and Düsselthal. Mörsenbroich has about 14,000 inhabitants. In the region around Düsseldorf is the "Mörsenbroicher Ei" ("Mörsenbroich egg") well-known, because there is large traffic-jam every morning. The Mörsenbroich egg is a place, where the federal highway A 52 ends and the traffic goes into the city of Düsseldorf.
Arag-Tower
The Arag-Tower or ARAG-Tower is a skyscraper office tower, which houses the headquarters of the European insurance group Arag. It is located in Mörsenbroich, the northern district of Düsseldorf. Two architect offices — Foster and Partners and Rhode Kellermann Wawrowsky — collaborated on the project, and project management was entrusted to Hochtief AG. The construction took place between 1998 and 2001 with the final cost of the building being 46 million euros.

The station was opened on 29 May 1988 on the new line opened by the Prussian state railways on 1 October 1891 between the Hamm Railway bridge and Gerresheim as part of the construction of Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof. It has two platform tracks and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station.

7th Panzer Division (Bundeswehr)
The 7th Panzer Division or Westphalian Panzer Division (German: 7. Panzerdivision or Westfälische Panzerdivision) was a major formation in the German Army (Heer) within the German Armed Forces or Bundeswehr whose headquarters was for many years in Lippstadt und Unna and, finally in Düsseldorf. Until its dissolution in 2006 it was seen as the "backbone of the Army" or the "spearhead of the German Army". The majority of new weapon systems were introduced by this formation.
Capitol Theater (Düsseldorf)
Capitol Theater (Düsseldorf) is the largest theatre in Düsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. The building, which is over 100 years old, is a former Straßenbahn depot of the Rheinbahn, which was converted in the early 1990 into the theatre. It was inaugurated in 1996 with a performance of the musical Grease.
