Niederwenigern
Niederwenigern is a small borough of the city of Hattingen in North Rhine-Westphalia. It is about 15 minutes by car from the center of Hattingen along the Ruhr River but closer (about 5 minutes) to Kupferdreh, a part of the town Essen. The population is about 6,000 and before 1970, it was independent. Niederwenigern has a Roman Catholic church, a local landmark, St. Mauritius Cathedral. There is also a Lutheran-Evangelical Protestant church, the faith of most Protestant Christians in Germany.

Dahlhausen is a South-Western district of the city of Bochum in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. It borders to Essen and Hattingen. A large part of the border of Dahlhausen is formed by the river Ruhr. South of the Ruhr is the district of Burgaltendorf of the city of Essen. Dahlhausen houses the well known railway museum of Dahlhausen. The Dr. C. Otto & Comp. is an old company of international importance. Bochum-Dahlhausen station is served by Line S 3 of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn.
Bochum-Linden
Bochum-Linden is a district of the City of Bochum in the Ruhr area in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany. The population's main language was once Westphalian, but it has since been replaced by High German. Bochum-Linden is located in the south west of Bochum, between Dahlhausen and Stiepel. It shares a border with Hattingen, a city of Ennepe-Ruhr-Kreis.
Bochum Dahlhausen Railway Museum
The Eisenbahnmuseum Bochum-Dahlhausen is a railway museum situated south of the city of Bochum in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It was founded by DGEG, the German Railway History Company in 1977 and is based in a locomotive depot that was built between 1916 and 1918 and ceased operation in 1969. Then DGEG took over the whole area of 46,000 square metres and built up the biggest railway museum in Germany. In the middle of the museum, there is an engine shed with fourteen tracks.

It is served by Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn line S 3 every 20 minutes and one bus routes, 167, every 10 minutes, operated by Essener Verkehrs-AG.
Essen-Eiberg station
Essen-Eiberg station is a station in the district of Eiberg of the city of Essen in the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia. It is on the Witten/Dortmund–Oberhausen/Duisburg railway and it is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 5 station. The station was opened in 1968 or 1969. The station is served by line S 1 of the Rhine-Ruhr S-Bahn, running between Dortmund and Solingen every 20 minutes during the day.
