Roonstrasse Synagogue
Roonstrasse Synagogue, located in Cologne, Germany, is one of the five pre-Nazi synagogues of the locality, which was destroyed on November 9, 1938 during nation-wide attacks on Jewish-owned property when Germany was under Nazi rule. The synagogue was subsequently rebuilt during the 1950s. It is currently a center of Jewish community of Cologne, and consists of a community center, a small display of items associated with Cologne Jewry, and a kosher restaurant.

The Cologne Ring is a semi-circular, some 6 km long urban boulevard in Innenstadt, Cologne and the city's busiest and most prominent street system. The Cologne Ring is a four lane street and part of Bundesstraße 9. The ring road encircles the old town of Cologne on its Southern, Western and Northern boundaries on the site of the former mediaeval city wall. It divides Innenstadt into old town (Altstadt) east of it and new town (Neustadt) west of it.

The Synagogue in Glockengasse was a synagogue in Cologne, that was built according to the plans of the architect of Cologne Dome Ernst Friedrich Zwirner . It was built in the area of the previous Monastery of St. Clarissa, where a modest hall of prayer had been erected in the years of the French occupation and had been closed in 1853 because unsafe.
Cologne Charterhouse
Cologne Charterhouse was a Carthusian monastery or charterhouse established in the Severinsviertel district, in the present Altstadt-Süd, of Cologne, Germany. Founded in 1334, the monastery developed into the largest charterhouse in Germany until it was forcibly dissolved in 1794 by the invading French Revolutionary troops. The building complex was then neglected until World War II, when it was mostly destroyed. The present building complex is very largely a post-war reconstruction.

The Schnütgen Museum (Museum Schnütgen in German) in Cologne (Köln), Germany is devoted to Christian religious art, mainly medieval, but some parts of the collection, such as its textiles and prints, extend from antiquity to the modern period. In 1906, the collection of Alexander Schnütgen was donated to the city, and the collection has continued to expand, so that until the opening of a new building in 2010, only about 10% of its 13,000 items could be displayed.

Schildergasse
The Schildergasse is a shopping street in central Cologne, Germany, and with 13,000 people passing through every hour, it is the busiest shopping street in Europe. The Schildergasse is a designated pedestrian zone and spans about 500 meters from Hohe Straße on the Eastern end to Neumarkt on the Western end. The street dates back to Roman times, where it was the city's Decumanus Maximus. During the Middle Ages it was home to artists who painted coats of arms where the street got its name from.

It is served by regional trains of Deutsche Bahn and trans regio. Nr. 9 line of the Cologne Stadtbahn stops at the adjacent stop Dasselstraße/Bahnhof Süd. The station is planned to be served by S-Bahn-lines to Euskirchen and Bonn in the future.

The Käthe Kollwitz Museum in Cologne owns one of the largest collections of works by the German artist Käthe Kollwitz (1867–1945). It opened on 22 April 1985, the 40th anniversary of Kollwitz's death. The basis of the collection, consisting of 60 graphical works along with all 15 of the artist's bronze sculptures, was acquired by the Kreissparkasse Köln (a savings bank) from Kollwitz's granddaughters in 1983.

The former collegiate church is dedicated to St. Severin of Cologne. It is one of the twelve Romanesque churches of Cologne. St. Severin was established in the late 4th century as a memorial chapel and extended several times. The oldest parts of today's building date back to the 10th century. It was designated a Basilica Minor by Pope Pius XII in 1953.

The Basilica of the Holy Apostles (Basilika St. Aposteln) is a Romanesque church in Cologne (Köln), located near Innenstadt's busy Neumarkt. The former collegiate church is dedicated to the twelve Apostles. It is one of the twelve Romanesque churches built in Cologne in that period. The church has a basilical plan of nave and aisles, and like Groß St. Martin and St. Maria im Kapitol, has three apses at the east end making a trefoil plan. There is a single tall tower at the west.

The Tazzelwurm (Varieté) was a theatre in Cologne, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. It was the first music hall theatre (in American usage Vaudeville theater) in Cologne after World War II. The building was located on Zülpicher Street and was one of the few remaining larger halls in largely destroyed post-war Cologne. The first carnival-style revue was performed here in November 1945.
