West Germany
West Germany is the common English name for the Federal Republic of Germany or FRG (German: Bundesrepublik Deutschland or BRD) in the period between its creation in May 1949 to German reunification on 3 October 1990. During this period, the NATO-aligned West Germany and the socialist East Germany were divided by the Inner German border. After 1961, West Berlin was physically separated from East Berlin as well as from East Germany by the Berlin Wall.

Sieg
The Sieg is a river in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany named after the Sigambrer. It is a right tributary of the Rhine and 153 kilometres in length. The source is located in the Rothaargebirge mountains. From here the river runs southwestwards to the city of Siegen and the hills of Siegerland, both named after the river. Further west the Sieg valley forms the boundary of the Bergisches Land (northern) and Westerwald (southern).

Arithmeum
The Arithmeum is a mathematics museum owned by the Forschungsinstitut für Diskrete Mathematik (Research Institute for Discrete Mathematics) at the University of Bonn. It was founded by the Director of the Institute, Bernhard Korte, who contributed his private collection of calculating machines. The building's steel-glass facade - located at Lennéstrasse 2 - is meant to represent the "transparency of science".

Bonn Egyptian Museum is an Ancient Egypt museum in Bonn, Germany. It presents a selection of the most important collection of original objects from Ancient Egypt in North Rhine-Westphalia. The museum is part of the University of Bonn. Regular special events and children's excursions are held at the museum. It was founded in 2001. The collection is dating back to the 19th century and was formerly part of the Akademisches Kunstmuseum. Large parts of the collection were destroyed in World War II.

It is the oldest museum in Bonn and houses the antique collection of the University of Bonn with more than 500 antique statues and reliefs, and over 2,000 originals. It is located in a neoclassical building at the southern end of the Hofgarten, near the Electoral Palace. The museum was founded in 1818 and has one of the largest collections of plaster casts of ancient Greek and Roman sculptures in the world.
