Herrenhausen
Herrenhausen is an area of the German city Hanover which is most notable for the baroque Herrenhausen Gardens. Ernest Augustus, Elector of Brunswick-Lüneburg died in Herrenhausen Castle and his grandson King George II of Great Britain was born there. During the Second World War the castle was completely destroyed in a British bombing on October 18, 1943.

The Herrenhausen Gardens, located in Lower Saxony's capital of Hanover are made up of the Great Garden (Großer Garten), the Berggarten, the Georgengarten and the Welfengarten. The gardens are a heritage of the Kings of Hanover. The Great Garden has always been one of the most distinguished baroque formal gardens of Europe while the Berggarten has been transformed over the years from a simple vegetable garden into a large botanical garden with its own attractions.

It features the world's largest collection of works by Busch, as well as contemporary comic art, illustrations and drawings. It is located in the Georgengarten (part of the Herrenhausen Gardens) in a palace known as the Georgenpalais, dating from around 1780.

The Botanischer Schulgarten Burg (7.5 hectares) is a botanical garden for students maintained by the municipal Schulbiologiezentrum Hannover organization. It is located at Vinnhorster Weg 2, Hannover, Lower Saxony, Germany, and open weekdays. The garden was established in 1927 to provide practical botany experiences to students.
Baitus Sami
Baitus Sami Mosque is located in the German city of Hannover, Lower Saxony. The Baitus Sami is the first and currently (2010) the "only mosque in Hanover with a dome and minaret. " Built for the Ahmadiyya movement, the mosque area comprises approximately 2,800 sqm, with space for 300 worshippers. It is located on a street in an industrial area, outside the residential area. It was inaugurated in August 2008 by the Caliph of the community, Mirza Masroor Ahmad.
Calenberg Land
The Calenberg Land is a historic landscape southwest of Hanover in Germany, roughly formed by the countryside between the Leine and the Deister hills. The name of this region comes from the Principality of Calenberg ruled the area during the Middle Ages with its seat at Calenberg Castle near Pattensen.
Wunstorf station
Wunstorf is a railway station located in Wunstorf, Germany. The station opened in 1847 and is located on the Hanover–Minden railway and the Bremen–Hanover railway. The train services are operated by Deutsche Bahn. At this station the routes of S1 and S2 split, S1 continuing to Minden and the S2 to Nienburg. Both routes are operated independently once per hour, leading to two trains per hour between Wunstorf and Hanover. A 6 km / 4 mi single-track spur runs to Bokeloh.
