AG Weser
Aktien-Gesellschaft „Weser" (abbreviated A.G. „Weser”) was one of the major German shipbuilding companies, located at the Weser River in Bremen. Founded in 1872 it was finally closed in 1983. Altogether, A.G. „Weser" built about 1,400 ships of different types, including many warships. Wümme
The Wümme is a river in northern Germany. It is the left tributary of the Lesum, which runs into the river Weser. It runs 118 km across northern Lower Saxony and the state Free Hanseatic City of Bremen, marking the border between the two states for part of its course. The river's source is located on the Wulfsberg in Lüneburg Heath. West of Rotenburg, it takes up the rivers Rodau and Wiedau. It merges with the Hamme by Wasserhorst where the two rivers combine to form the Lesum.

Lufthansa Flight 005
Lufthansa Flight 005 was a scheduled flight en route from Frankfurt to Hamburg with a stopover in Bremen. The aircraft crashed just beyond the runway in Bremen just before 19:00 on January 28, 1966, in a go-around after an aborted landing. All occupants — 42 passengers and 4 crew members — died in the accident.

Schulschiff Deutschland
The Schulschiff Deutschland ("School Ship Germany") was employed as a school ship ship for the merchant marine beginning in 1927. This last German full-rigged ship is maintained as a memorial and museum ship. located at Vegesack, in the Federal State of Bremen, Germany. Since the name Deutschland was at the time of its building already assigned to an unbuilt naval warship, its official name is Schulschiff Deutschland. The ship carries 25 sails with a sail area of 1950 square meters.
Varreler Bäke
The Varreler Bäke is a stream in north Germany that comes from the Klosterbach brook which flows south of Bremen on Lower Saxon territory through the villages of Bassum, Kirchseelte and Stuhr-Heiligenrode. From Stuhr-Varrel (Tölkenbrück) the Klosterbach is given the name Varreler Bäke. This then flows for a short distance throu the district of Diepholz and then continues through the city-state of Bremen through Huchting. It discharges into the River Ochtum near the village of Strom.
