Berliner Feuerwehr - Umgestürzter Baum in Steglitz, Markel Strassse
Am 30.Oktober 2008 stürzete nach Starkregen ein Morsch gewordener Strassenbaum in Berlin-Steglitz auf mehrere PKW. Der Baum hatte sich mit Regenwasser voll gesogen. Das Eigengewicht wurde.

Kurfürstendamm
The Kurfürstendamm, known locally as the Ku'damm, is one of the most famous avenues in Berlin. The street takes its name from the former Kurfürsten of Brandenburg. This very broad, long boulevard can be considered the Champs-Élysées of Berlin — full of shops, houses, hotels and restaurants. In particular, many fashion designers have their shops there, as well as several car manufacturers' show rooms.

Rundfunk im amerikanischen Sektor
RIAS (German: Rundfunk im amerikanischen Sektor; English: Broadcasting in the American Sector) was a radio and television station in the American Sector of Berlin during the Cold War. It was founded by the US occupational authorities after World War II in 1946 to provide the German population in and around Berlin with news and political reporting and for its first seven months was distributed (as DIAS – Drahtfunk im amerikanischen Sektor) via wired relay only.
Power station Berlin-Wilmersdorf
The power station Berlin-Wilmersdorf is a power plant which went into service in 1977 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. Construction of the facility, which belongs to the BEWAG, started in 1973. It has three blocks with a power of 110 megawatts, each equipped with a 102 metre high chimney. This very striking facility received an architectural prize in the 1980s. It is not located nearby a river and therefore must take its cooling water from underground.

Hohenzollernplatz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located in the Wilmersdorf district on the U3 line. The station opened with the first section of the U3 from Wittenbergplatz to Thielplatz on October 12, 1913. As of Heidelberger Platz the archiect was W. Leitgebel.
Spichernstraße (Berlin U-Bahn)
Spichernstraße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U3 and the U9 in Wilmersdorf neighbourhood. The U3 (then called A II and B II) portion opened on 2 June 1959, replacing the nearby Nürnberger Platz station, which was closed and demolished. The U9 portion, which lies deeper underground, opened on 28 August 1961 as the southern terminus of the new line, then called G. The eponymous street is named after Spicheren in France, site of the 1870 Battle of Spicheren.
Fehrbelliner Platz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Fehrbelliner Platz is a station of the Berlin U-Bahn located in the Wilmersdorf district on the U3 and the U7. The U3 section was opened on October 12, 1913 as one of the line's original stations, the U7 section on January 29, 1971 with the line's extension from Möckernbrücke. Though the station has then been widely rebuilt including the new entrance hall in a - disputed - 70's "oil rig" style, the U3 platform is preserved in its original condition.
Rüdesheimer Platz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Rüdesheimer Platz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located in the Wilmersdorf district on the U3. The station opened on October 12, 1913. The eponymous square was named after the town of Rüdesheim am Rhein in Hesse, famous for its Rheingau wines. Willy Leitgebel constructed it like the nearby station Heidelberger Platz and Breitenbachplatz in a very pompous way. Mosaics, a lot of details and granite columns can be found there.
Breitenbachplatz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Breitenbachplatz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located in the Dahlem district on the U3. It opened on October 12, 1913. The station, and the eponymous square, were named after Minister of State Paul von Breitenbach. It was constructed by W. Leitgebel and closed for a few months during 1945 because of World War II. In 2011 the station was renovated to include a new floor and a lift.
Berlin Heidelberger Platz station
Berlin Heidelberger Platz is a railway station in the Wilmersdorf district of Berlin. It is served by S-Bahn lines S41, S42 and S46 and U-Bahn line U3. The station on the Berlin Ringbahn was opened with the name "Schmargendorf" on December 15, 1883. In 1980 the S-Bahn service was discontinued and the former entrance hall eventually became a nightclub.
Deutschlandradio Kultur
Deutschlandradio Kultur (abbreviated to DLR Kultur or DKultur) is the culture-oriented radio station of the German national Deutschlandradio service. From 1994 to March 2005 the station was known as "DeutschlandRadio Berlin". Studio facilities are based in the former RIAS building at Hans-Rosenthal-Platz in Schöneberg, Berlin.
Adenauerplatz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Adenauerplatzis a Berlin U-Bahn Station on the U7 line in the district of Charlottenburg, borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. It was opened on 28th April 1978 after the North-West extension to Spandau, and is located on the Kurfürstendamm/Lewishamstrasse intersection. The station, according to the station directory of the BVG (Berlin Transport Company), has an escalator but no elevator therefore it is not completely accessible.
Blissestraße (Berlin U-Bahn)
Blissestraße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U7. Designed by G. R. Rümmler and opened in 1971, it has a ceiling with cement caskets that reflect the light in an unusual way.
Konstanzer Straße (Berlin U-Bahn)
Konstanzer Straße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on line U7 in the Wilmersdorf district. It was opened on 28 April 1978 (architect R. Rümmler) with the line's extension to Richard-Wagner-Platz. The eponymous street is named after the town of Konstanz (Constance). The colors of the tiles on the wall of this station are also found in the emblem of the city Konstanz. On 14 February 2007 a second entrance was constructed on the opposite end of the station to improve safety.

Berlin Bundesplatz station
Berlin Bundesplatz is a railway station in the Wilmersdorf district of Berlin. It is served by the S-Bahn lines S41, S42, S45 and S46 and the U-Bahn line U9. Opened in 1971 by R.G. Rümmler, it was build next to a highway tunnel. There is no direct connection between the two directions of the subways because the platforms are located on the right of each highway direction. Mentionable is the different color scheme on the stations heading north/south.

Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Friedrich-Wilhelm-Platz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U9. Opened in 1971, this station was created by Rümmler. It was build just next to the grounding of the 1893 built church "Zum Guten Hirten". The place was named after Fr. Wilhelm the emperor Friedrich III. who died after only 99 days being emperor. 1946 there was a proposal to rename the station to Engelsplatz, which was not carried out.
Kirche am Hohenzollernplatz
Kirche am Hohenzollernplatz (Church at Hohenzollernplatz) is the church of the Evangelical Congregation at Hohenzollernplatz, a member of today's Protestant umbrella Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. The church is located at the eastern side of Hohenzollernplatz square in the locality of Wilmersdorf, in Berlin's borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. The building is considered one of the main pieces of Brick Expressionism.
Max Planck Institute for Human Development
The Max Planck Institute for Human Development is located in Berlin, Germany. It was founded in 1963 and is one of 80 institutes in the Max Planck Society (Max Planck Gesellschaft). The Institute has four main research areas: Adaptive Behavior and Cognition, Adaptive Rationality (headed by Ralph Hertwig), Lifespan Psychology (headed by Ulman Lindenberger) and History of Emotions (headed by Ute Frevert).

Hohenzollerndamm is a station in the Wilmersdorf district of Berlin. It is served by the S-Bahn lines S41, S42 and S46. The station is located on the eponymous street named after the House of Hohenzollern. The neo-baroque entrance hall reminiscent of Art Nouveau design was erected in 1910.

It was built in 1911, and has served as a hotel and as headquarters for several administrations. In 2011, the building was restored and converted to a commercial and residential building.
