Kurfürstendamm
The Kurfürstendamm, known locally as the Ku'damm, is one of the most famous avenues in Berlin. The street takes its name from the former Kurfürsten of Brandenburg. This very broad, long boulevard can be considered the Champs-Élysées of Berlin — full of shops, houses, hotels and restaurants. In particular, many fashion designers have their shops there, as well as several car manufacturers' show rooms.

The Berliner Funkturm or Funkturm Berlin (Radio Tower Berlin) is a transmitting tower in Berlin, built between 1924 and 1926 by Heinrich Straumer. It is nicknamed "der lange Lulatsch" ("the lanky lad") and is one of the best-known points of interest in the city of Berlin. Schaubühne
The Schaubühne am Lehniner Platz is a famous theatre in the Wilmersdorf district of Berlin, located at almost the middle of the famous Kurfürstendamm. It is a conversion of the Kino Universum, designed by Erich Mendelsohn in 1926. This was perhaps the first Modernist cinema built in the world, as opposed to the Moorish, Egyptian and baroque styles that predominated. Mendelsohn wrote a short text on his cinema, declaring 'no baroque palaces for Buster Keaton'.
Power station Berlin-Wilmersdorf
The power station Berlin-Wilmersdorf is a power plant which went into service in 1977 in Berlin-Wilmersdorf. Construction of the facility, which belongs to the BEWAG, started in 1973. It has three blocks with a power of 110 megawatts, each equipped with a 102 metre high chimney. This very striking facility received an architectural prize in the 1980s. It is not located nearby a river and therefore must take its cooling water from underground.
Bismarckstraße (Berlin U-Bahn)
Bismarckstraße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located in the Charlottenburg district on the U2 and U7 lines. The two-level station opened on 28 April 1978 in the course of the extension of the U7 line from Fehrbelliner Platz to Richard-Wagner-Platz at the interchange with the U2 built in 1908. Bismarckstraße had already been the original name of the neighbouring Deutsche Oper station on the U2 line until 1929. U2:The next station is Deutsche Oper or Sophie-Charlotte-Platz.
Sophie-Charlotte-Platz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Sophie-Charlotte-Platz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U2. Opened in 1908 nd build by A. Grenander, in 1988 26 big paintings were attached to the walls. These are showing history of the subway before the first war. 1935 the windows on the walls were removed. 1938 the entrances of the station had to be moved.
Kaiserdamm (Berlin U-Bahn)
Kaiserdamm is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U2. It is linked to the Berlin S-Bahn station of Messe Nord/ICC (former Witzleben). Opened in 1908, this station was build by A. Grenander. 1936 it was renamed to Kaiserdamm/Messedamm and 1967 it got the name Adenauerdamm (Messedamm). However protests from the people living nearby led to another change to the former name (Adenauer -chancellor of West Germany- was not very well liked in Berlin in these days).
Fehrbelliner Platz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Fehrbelliner Platz is a station of the Berlin U-Bahn located in the Wilmersdorf district on the U3 and the U7. The U3 section was opened on October 12, 1913 as one of the line's original stations, the U7 section on January 29, 1971 with the line's extension from Möckernbrücke. Though the station has then been widely rebuilt including the new entrance hall in a - disputed - 70's "oil rig" style, the U3 platform is preserved in its original condition.
Rüdesheimer Platz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Rüdesheimer Platz is a Berlin U-Bahn station located in the Wilmersdorf district on the U3. The station opened on October 12, 1913. The eponymous square was named after the town of Rüdesheim am Rhein in Hesse, famous for its Rheingau wines. Willy Leitgebel constructed it like the nearby station Heidelberger Platz and Breitenbachplatz in a very pompous way. Mosaics, a lot of details and granite columns can be found there.
Berlin Heidelberger Platz station
Berlin Heidelberger Platz is a railway station in the Wilmersdorf district of Berlin. It is served by S-Bahn lines S41, S42 and S46 and U-Bahn line U3. The station on the Berlin Ringbahn was opened with the name "Schmargendorf" on December 15, 1883. In 1980 the S-Bahn service was discontinued and the former entrance hall eventually became a nightclub.

Wilmersdorfer Straße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U7. The station is on Wilmersdorfers Straße, which is a big street full of shops like Karstadt, DM, and the Wilmersdorfers Arcaden, a 4-floor shopping mall. It is located close to Berlin-Charlottenburg station. It was opened in 1978 and designed by Rümmler. The pattern of the tiles on the walls should resemble a lily which is on the crest of Wilmersdorf. The next station is Adenauerplatz.
Adenauerplatz (Berlin U-Bahn)
Adenauerplatzis a Berlin U-Bahn Station on the U7 line in the district of Charlottenburg, borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf. It was opened on 28th April 1978 after the North-West extension to Spandau, and is located on the Kurfürstendamm/Lewishamstrasse intersection. The station, according to the station directory of the BVG (Berlin Transport Company), has an escalator but no elevator therefore it is not completely accessible.
Konstanzer Straße (Berlin U-Bahn)
Konstanzer Straße is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on line U7 in the Wilmersdorf district. It was opened on 28 April 1978 (architect R. Rümmler) with the line's extension to Richard-Wagner-Platz. The eponymous street is named after the town of Konstanz (Constance). The colors of the tiles on the wall of this station are also found in the emblem of the city Konstanz. On 14 February 2007 a second entrance was constructed on the opposite end of the station to improve safety.

Internationales Congress Centrum Berlin
The Internationales Congress Centrum Berlin (ICC Berlin), located in the Westend locality of the Berlin borough of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf, is one of the largest conference centres in the world. It is used for conventions, theatrical productions, and concerts. ICC Berlin opened in 1979 (three years after the opening of the Palace of the Republic), and its architects were Ralf Schüler and Ursulina Schüler-Witte. It is 320 metres long, 80 metres wide and 40 metres high.
Luna Park, Berlin
Luna Park in the Halensee area of Berlin, Germany was an amusement park in operation from 1909 to 1933. At that time, it was Europe's largest. The park was closed for World War I but reopened after Armistice. Luna Park closed for the last time in October 1933.
Berlin International Green Week
Berlin International Green Week (German: Internationale Grüne Woche Berlin), also called simply Green Week, is an important international trade fair held annually in Berlin, Germany, for processors and marketers in agriculture, horticulture and various food industries. Green Week traditionally takes place at the beginning of the year in the exhibition halls under the Funkturm and is open to the general public. In 2010 it had around 400,000 visitors.
Haus Cumberland
The Haus Cumberland (simply translated as Cumberland House) is a Grade II listed building on the Kurfürstendamm avenue between Bleibtreu and Schlüterstraße in Charlottenburg, Berlin. It was built in 1911, and has served as a hotel and as headquarters for several administrations. In 2011, the building was restored and converted to a commercial and residential building.
