Palmengarten
The Palmengarten (22 hectares) is one of two botanical gardens in Frankfurt am Main and the largest garden of its kind in Germany. It is located in the Westend-Süd district. Like many public sites in Frankfurt, it was privately financed and implemented by the architect Heinrich Siesmayer. Work was completed in 1871 and opened to the public. One colorful visit was from the American entertainer Buffalo Bill who brought his Western show in 1890.
Alte Oper
The Alte Oper (Old Opera) is a concert hall and former opera house in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It was inaugurated in 1880, bombed in 1944, and rebuilt slowly in the 1970s, reopening only in 1981. The city's opera company operates now at a nearby modern building while the Alte Oper serves as home to the Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra. Important works have been premiered at the Alte Oper, including Carl Orff's Carmina Burana in 1937.
You FM (Germany)
You FM is one of the radio networks owned and operated by Hessischer Rundfunk, the public broadcaster for the German state of Hesse. Originally operating under the name hr XXL, the network featured the popular show XXL Clubnights which highlighted the night club scene in Hesse. In January 2004, the network was renamed You FM ("Young Fresh Music"), partially in an attempt to divest itself of its old "techno station" image.
Lessing-Gymnasium, Frankfurt
The Lessing-Gymnasium is the oldest Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main. It was founded in 1519 by the city council. The first foreign languages are Latin and English starting in 5th grade. In the 7th grade the pupils have to choose between French or Ancient Greek. The school also has got a variety of the fine arts: It has got several orchestras and choirs. Some famous people connected to the school are Georg Philipp Telemann, Georg Friedrich Grotefend, Peter Stein and Eva Demski.

Opernplatz
The Opernplatz (Opera Square) is a central city square in Frankfurt, Germany, located in the district of Innenstadt and within the central business district known as the Bankenviertel. It is named for the Alte Oper (Old Opera) building, which today serves as a concert hall.
Grüneburgpark
The Grüneburgpark is a park in the Westend district of Frankfurt, whose name derives from the "Green castle", which stood on the site in the 14th century. In 1789 the banker Peter Heinrich von Bethmann Metzler acquired the property and designed the park. In the following years the great thinkers of the day met here, among them Johann Wolfgang von Goethe and Bettina von Arnim.
IG Farben Building
The IG Farben Building or the Poelzig Building was built from 1928 to 1930 as the corporate headquarters of the IG Farben conglomerate in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is also known as the Poelzig Ensemble or Poelzig Complex, and previously as the IG Farben Complex, and the General Creighton W. Abrams Building. The building's original design was the subject of a competition which was eventually won by the architect Hans Poelzig.
Opernturm
OpernTurm (English: Opera Tower) is a 43-storey 170 m skyscraper in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. The property is situated opposite Alte Oper on the corner of Bockenheimer Landstraße and Bockenheimer Anlage. The building was designed by Christoph Mäckler. The project developer was Tishman Speyer, a US firm that previously built the Sony Center in Berlin and the Messeturm in Frankfurt.

Eurotheum
The Eurotheum is a 31-storey, 110 m skyscraper in the city center of Frankfurt, Germany. The building was constructed in 1999 to coincide with the adjacent Main Tower, and is one of a few such in Frankfurt that offers office and residential space. Each floor of the tower has 17,000 m of office space, which is occupied mostly by the European Central Bank as an extension of their headquarters at Willy-Brandt-Platz. The 22nd floor has a public bar lounge.
Park Tower (Frankfurt)
Park Tower, formerly known as SGZ-Hochhaus, is a high-rise building in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. It was built in 1972 as the administrative headquarters of the Südwestdeutschen Genossenschafts-Zentralbank. The then 96-metre high building with a black and silver facade was briefly the tallest skyscraper in Frankfurt. It is located in Reuterweg near the Opernplatz. Between July 2005 and autumn 2007, the building was gutted completely and radically restructured.
Eschenheimer Turm
Eschenheimer Turm (Eschenheim Tower) was a city gate part of the late-medieval fortifications of Frankfurt am Main and is a landmark of the city. The tower, which was erected at the beginning of the fifteenth century, is at once the oldest and most unaltered building in the largely reconstructed Frankfurter Neustadt (new town), now better known as the Frankfurt-Innenstadt (city center).

Frankfurt am Main Taunusanlage station (German: Bahnhof Frankfurt am Main Taunusanlage) is metro station in the city centre of Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It is served by eight S-Bahn lines (S1–S6, S8, S9). The station was opened with the first section of the Frankfurt City Tunnel in May 1978. It consists of two tracks, surrounding a central platform.
Frankfurt American High School
Frankfurt American High School (FAHS) was a Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) system school located on the Abrams Complex in Frankfurt Germany. One of DoDDS original six high schools in Germany, the school served the children of American military, government and civilian personnel from 1946 until its closing in 1995. Originally known as the "Maroon Raiders", the "Eagle" was adopted as the school's mascot during the 1948-49 school year. The schools colors are black and gold.
Goethestraße
Goethestraße is a luxury shopping street in the city centre of Frankfurt, Germany, located between Opernplatz (in the west) and Börsenstraße (in the east) in the district of Innenstadt and within the central business district known as the Bankenviertel. It is a parallel street of Freßgass. The street is Germany's third busiest luxury shopping street. The street was constructed between 1892 and 1894 and named for Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
Holzhausenschlösschen
The Holzhausenschlösschen (Little Holzhausen palace) is a Baroque moated castle, built by the Frankfurt patrician family Holzhausen on their farm, then just north of Frankfurt, now in Frankfurt's Nordend. The present building was completed in 1729, built for Johann Hieronymus von Holzhausen on the foundations of a moated castle from the Middle Ages after a design by Louis Remy de la Fosse. It serves as a venue for cultural events.
