You FM (Germany)

You FM is one of the radio networks owned and operated by Hessischer Rundfunk, the public broadcaster for the German state of Hesse. Originally operating under the name hr XXL, the network featured the popular show XXL Clubnights which highlighted the night club scene in Hesse. The Lessing-Gymnasium is the oldest Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main. It was founded in 1519 by the city council. The first foreign languages are Latin and English starting in 5th grade. In the 7th grade the pupils have to choose between French or Ancient Greek. The school also has got a variety of the fine arts: It has got several orchestras and choirs. Holy Cross Church, Frankfurt-Bornheim

The Holy Cross Church is a Roman Catholic church in the district Bornheim of Frankfurt am Main. It was built by Martin Weber from 1928 to 1929, on a rise then known as Bornheimer Hang. The church is an unusual example of interwar modernist as sacred architecture of Bauhaus architecture. The church was finally completed on 25 August 1929 and handed to the Catholic congregation of Bornheim. It was damaged in the Second World War, and afterwards rebuilt with money donated for the purpose.

Nida was an ancient Roman town in the northwestern suburbs of today's Frankfurt am Main, Germany. It was at the time of the Roman empire capital of the Civitas Taunensium. The Roman town was on the edge of the Wetterau region in the northwest of the present city of Frankfurt am Main, in the district of Frankfurt-Heddernheim. Frankfurt American High School

Frankfurt American High School (FAHS) was a Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) system school located on the Abrams Complex in Frankfurt Germany. One of DoDDS original six high schools in Germany, the school served the children of American military, government and civilian personnel from 1946 until its closing in 1995. Originally known as the "Maroon Raiders", the "Eagle" was adopted as the school's mascot during the 1948-49 school year. The schools colors are black and gold.

Heiligenstock transmitter

Heiligenstock Transmitter, also known as the Heiligenstock Radio Tower, was a wooden German lattice transmitter that was used for mediumwave broadcasting. The tower was built in the year 1934 but was dismantled four years later because of its bad state. The tower was then rebuilt the same year it was dismantled in the city of Frankfurt. The newly rebuilt radio tower was then demolished in March 25th, 1945 during the second world war by the retreating German troops using explosives.

Holzhausenschlösschen
