European Central Bank

The European Central Bank (ECB) is one of the seven institutions of the European Union (EU) listed in the Treaty on European Union (TEU). German Confederation

The German Confederation was a loose association of 39 German states in Central Europe, created by the Congress of Vienna in 1815 to coordinate the economies of separate German-speaking countries and to replace the former Holy Roman Empire. Goethe-Gymnasium is a secondary school in the city of Frankfurt am Main in Germany. It is situated near the Hauptbahnhof. It is currently the only state funded school in Germany that offers students the option of taking International Baccalaureate examination. Städel

The Städel, officially the Städelsches Kunstinstitut und Städtische Galerie, is an art museum in Frankfurt am Main, with one of the most important collections in Germany. OpernTurm (English: Opera Tower) is a 43-storey 170 m skyscraper in the Westend-Süd district of Frankfurt, Germany. The property is situated opposite Alte Oper on the corner of Bockenheimer Landstraße and Bockenheimer Anlage. The building was designed by Christoph Mäckler. Inverted Collar and Tie is a sculpture designed in 1994 by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen. It is located in Frankfurt's Westend in front of the Westend Tower. The DG Bank ordered the artwork in 1993. It was made in California. Inverted Collar and Tie shows a huge collar of a shirt and a necktie that are mounted top down on a pedestal. The necktie spreads its ends upwards as if it is fluttering lightly in the wind.

Japan Center (Frankfurt)

Japan Center is a high-rise building in the Innenstadt district of Frankfurt, Germany. The 115 meter high office tower with 27 floors was completed in 1996. The building was designed by Berlin architect Joachim Ganz and cost approximately 200 million Euros. The strict geometric forms based on the measure of a Japanese tatami mat (0.9 m × 1.8 m) and terra cotta stone cladding correspond to classical Japanese design. Its wide roof reminisces the shape of a Japanese stone lantern.

Garden Tower

Garden Tower is a high-rise building in the Innenstadt district of Frankfurt, Germany. It was built between 1973 and 1976 as the headquarters of Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen and was one of the first high-rise buildings in Frankfurt's financial district, the Bankenviertel. The building, designed by architecture firm Novotny Mähner Assoziierte, was commonly referred to as Helaba-Hochhaus until Helaba moved to a new location, the 200-metres-high Main Tower, in 1999.

Eurotheum

The Eurotheum is a 31-storey, 110 m skyscraper in the city center of Frankfurt, Germany. The building was constructed in 1999 to coincide with the adjacent Main Tower, and is one of a few such in Frankfurt that offers office and residential space.
