Neuengamme concentration camp
The Neuengamme concentration camp, a German concentration camp, was established in 1938 by the SS near the village of Neuengamme in the Bergedorf district of the City of Hamburg, Germany. It was in Nazi operation from 1938 to 1945. By the end of the war, more than half of its estimated 106,000 prisoners had died. At the end of hostilities, the occupying British Army used it for a time as a detention centre for SS troops.
Bille
The river Bille is a small, slow-flowing river in Stormarn, Schleswig-Holstein, a right tributary of the Elbe. Its source is near Linau, north of the Hahnheide forest. It then flows south of Trittau, representing the border between Stormarn and Lauenburg, continues south of Reinbek and reaches the river Elbe near Billwerder. A lot of old estates and tasteful parks are laid out along its riverbank. Its total length is 65 km.
Transmitter Hamburg-Billstedt
The Transmitter Hamburg-Billstedt is a broadcasting facility in Hamburg-Billstedt, established in 1934. It is owned and operated by the Norddeutscher Rundfunk public broadcasting service, but open to competitors, too. From 1934 to 1949 it used as transmission aerial a wire hung up in a tower of wood. This tower had until 1941 a height of 145 metres. In 1941 its height was reduced to 84.5 metres and in 1949 it was demolished. In 1940 a second aerial in form of a triangle area aerial was built.

It has operated telescopes at Bergedorf, at two previous locations in Hamburg, at other observatories around the world, and it has also supported space missions.

The Helmut Schmidt University (originally known as the University of the German Federal Armed Forces Hamburg), located in Hamburg, Germany, is a German educational establishment that was founded in 1973 at the initiative of the then-Federal Minister of Defence, Helmut Schmidt. Teaching first started in Autumn of 1973. It is one of two universities that were established by the Bundeswehr to train and educate its future and existing officers.
Moldauhafen
Moldauhafen is a lot in the port of Hamburg, Germany, which has been leased since 1929 pursuant to the Treaty of Versailles to Czechoslovakia. In 1993, the Czech Republic succeeded to the rights of Czechoslovakia, and the lease is set to run until 2028. The lot of about 30,000 square metres is not an exclave, since it is not sovereign Czech territory. Previously, a similar arrangement existed for the port of Stettin, now Szczecin, Poland.
Bullenhuser Damm
The Bullenhuser Damm School is located at 92–94 Bullenhuser Damm, a street in the Rothenburgsort section of Hamburg, Germany. During heavy air raids, many portions of Hamburg were destroyed including the Rothenburgsort section which received heavy damage. The school was only slightly damaged. By 1943, the surrounding area was largely obliterated so the building was no longer needed as a school.

Zollenspieker Ferry
The Zollenspieker Ferry is a ferry across the Elbe river in Germany. It is located at Leuschnerstrasse 91, Lohbrügge, Hamburg, Germany, and open by appointment. The arboretum was established in 1965 by the BFH, Bundesforschungsanstalt für Forst- und Holzwirtschaft.
Botanischer Sondergarten Wandsbek
The Botanischer Sondergarten Wandsbek (1.5 hectares) is a municipal botanical garden located in the Eichtalpark, Wandsbek, at Walddörferstraße 273, Hamburg, Germany. The garden began in 1926 as a school garden and became a municipal garden in 1956. It is open daily without charge.
Maschen
Maschen is a village in the municipality of Seevetal in Harburg district in the German state of Lower Saxony. It lies north of Hamburg on the northern edge of the Lüneburg Heath and within the commuter zone of the city of Hamburg. Maschen Marshalling Yard is the largest of its kind in Europe and the second biggest in the world. It was opened in 1977. With its 9,266 inhabitants Maschen is the second largest village in Seevetal.
