Johannisthaler Chaussee is a Berlin U-Bahn station located on the U7. It was opened in 1970 by architect Rümmler and got the addition "Gropiusstadt" in 1972. When the shopping mall "Gropius Passagen" was opened the station was refurbished and got a direct entrance to the shopping mall. The next station is Lipschitzallee.

The Britzer Garten, a large park in the south of Berlin, was designated after the local part Britz of Berlin's borough Neukoelln. It was constructed for the Bundesgartenschau 1985, in order to provide a new landscape park to the citizens in the southeast of West-Berlin, who were at that time cut off from the surrounding countryside.
Schloss Britz
The Schloss Britz (Britz castle) is the former manor-house of the historical Rittergut and village Britz, now a district of Berlin-Neukölln. Today it is the domicile of the cultural foundation Kulturstiftung Schloss Britz and includes in his originally reconstructed rooms from around 1880 a museum for interiors of the Gründerzeit. The manorial park is also well preserved with his mature trees and his 1890’s trails system.
