Beer Hall Putsch
The Beer Hall Putsch (also known as the Munich Putsch German: Hitlerputsch or German: Hitler-Ludendorff-Putsch) was a failed attempt at revolution that occurred between the evening of 8 November and the early afternoon of 9 November 1923, when Nazi Party leader Adolf Hitler, Generalquartiermeister Erich Ludendorff, and other heads of the Kampfbund unsuccessfully attempted to seize power in Munich.
Landtag of Bavaria
The Landtag of Bavaria (English: State Diet of Bavaria) is the unicameral legislature of the state of Bavaria in Germany. Between 1946 and 1999 there was an upper house, the Senate of Bavaria. The parliament meets in the Maximilianeum. Elections to the Landtag are held every five years and have to be conducted on a Sunday or public holiday. The following elections have to be held no earlier than 59 months and no later than 62 months after the previous one, unless the Landtag is dissolved.
Hofbräukeller
The Hofbräukeller is a restaurant in Haidhausen, Munich, Germany. It is a traditional Bavarian restaurant in a cellar with a beer garden, owned by Hofbräuhaus brewery. It is not a tourist spot like the Hofbräuhaus am Platzl. It is a part of the Wiener Platz, which it shares with the Wiener Markt. This is the place were Adolf Hitler gave his first political speech as member of the Deutsche Arbeiter Partei, on October 16, 1919.
Wilhelmsgymnasium (Munich)
The Wilhelmsgymnasium of Munich is a school of academic secondary education. It is very famous for various reasons: it is the oldest grammar school in Munich; it has had several famous (and infamous) students; since 2004 it has been the only school in Bavaria that can claim to be a "Humanistisches Gymnasium"; and the level of education in this school is very good (according to the 2006 year book, the students were best of all in Bavaria in the Abitur).
Luitpold Gymnasium
The Luitpold-Gymnasium is a secondary school in Munich, Germany. It was established by Prince Luitpold of Bavaria in 1891 as "Luitpold-Kreisrealschule" to serve the eastern part of the city and its suburbs. It stood in the Alexandrastrasse opposite the National Museum. The building was almost completely destroyed by incendiary bombing in 1944, leaving only parts of the facade and the gymnasium (sports hall).

Gasteig
Gasteig is a cultural center in Munich, opened in 1985, which hosts the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra. The Richard Strauss Conservatory, the Volkshochschule, and the municipal library are all located in the Gasteig. Most of the events of the Filmfest München, and many of the events of the Munich Biennale take place here.

The Wiener Markt is a daily food market in Haidhausen, a district of Munich. The market at Wiener Platz forms the centre of the district of Haidhausen. Max-Weber-Platz (Munich U-Bahn)
Max-Weber-Platz is a Munich U-Bahn interchange station on the U4 and U5 lines in the borough of Haidhausen. The station is located under Max-Weber-Platz, just east of the Landtag of Bavaria. The square was originally named after a local politician but from 1998 also after the more known sociologist. Max-Weber-Platz station is a transport hub for the Haidhausen quarter, allowing interchange between U-Bahn, bus and tramway services.
Lehel (Munich U-Bahn)
Lehel is a Munich U-Bahn station in the Altstadt-Lehel borough of Munich, on the U4 and U5 lines. It is located centrally in the exclusive Lehel quarter of Munich and is serviced by the tram line 17.
Rechts der Isar Hospital
The Rechts der Isar Hospital is a hospital in the Haidhausen district of Munich, Germany. It was founded in 1834, with 36 beds, as the Haidhauser Armen- und Krankenanstalt (Haidhausen Institution for the Poor and Sick) in a former coffee house, and was later run by Catholic nuns, the "Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul". When Haidhausen was incorporated to the City of Munich, it was renamed "Krankenhaus rechts der Isar".

Prinzregentenstraße (Munich)
The Prinzregentenstraße in Munich is one of four royal avenues and runs parallel to Maximilianstraße and begins at Prinz-Carl-Palais, in the northeastern part of the Old Town. The avenue was constructed from 1891 onwards as a prime address for the middle-class during the reign of Luitpold, Prince Regent of Bavaria and is named Prinzregentenstrasse in his honour.
München Rosenheimer Platz station
Rosenheimerplatz station is one five underground station opened in 1972 on the trunk line of the Munich S-Bahn between Munich Central Station and Munich East station (München Ost station). It is under the street of the same name and Rosenheimerstraße in the Munich district of Haidhausen. It has two platform tracks and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station.
Maximilianeum
The Maximilianeum, a palatial building in Munich, was built as the home of a gifted students' foundation and has also housed the Bavarian Landtag (state parliament) since 1949. The principal was King Maximilian II of Bavaria, who started the project in 1857. The leading architect was Friedrich Bürklein.
Bavarian State Archaeological Collection
The Bavarian State Archaeological Collection (German: Archäologische Staatssammlung, until 2000 known as the Prähistorische Staatssammlung, State Prehistoric Collection) in Munich is the central museum of prehistory of the State of Bavaria, considered to be one of the most important archaeological collections and cultural history museums in Germany.

Angel of Peace
The Angel of Peace is a monument in the Munich suburb of Bogenhausen. It is part of the Maximilian Park and a point de vue at the eastern end of a line of sight forming Prinzregentenstrasse. Next to the Isar, slightly elevated above street level, is an open space with a fountain; this has a dolphin waterspout surrounded by four smaller waterspouts. Two staircases lead to the observation deck .
Parish Church of St. Anna (Lehel, Munich)
St. Anna is a Catholic parish church Lehel, Munich, southern Germany, built in 1887-1892 under design by Gabriel Seidl. It is the main parish church of Lehel, located in the center of the quarter. In 1983, Coppell homemakers Norma Gaffney and Sandy Jadlot started talking and praying about the possibility of getting together with other local Catholics to build a Catholic Community. After initial word of mouth efforts and advertising in the local paper, 24 families responded.
St. Lukas (Munich)
St. Lukas is the largest Protestant church in Munich, southern Germany. It was built in 1893-1896, designed by Albert Schmidt. St. Lukas is the only almost perfectly preserved Lutheran parish church of the historical Munich. St. Lukas is located on the banks of the Isar, between the Steinsdorfstraße and Mariannenplatz. Although the ground belongs to Mariannenplatz (Mariannenplatz 3), the main entrance is found at the Steinsdorfstraße.
