Schwabing

Studentenstadt
Studentenstadt Freimann is a student housing complex in Munich, Germany. The complex was built in two stages, between 1961-1968 and between 1970-1977, and is Germany's largest student housing complex with 2,478 residential units in 14 buildings. Next to the Olympic Village, it is the second largest complex of the Studentenwerk München. In order to create affordable housing relatively quickly, several "Wohncontainer" have been set up near the original buildings.

Ungerer Tramway
The Ungerer Tramway was the first electrical tramway in Munich. It was built by engineer and owner of the Ungerer Bath, August Ungerer to connect the bath with the 750m distant stop of the horse powered tramway. The 1.2 km long Ungerer Tramway existed from 1 July 1886 to June 1895, when it was adjusted because of the extension of the horse tramway until to the north cemetery.

Tantris is a restaurant in Munich, Germany. Opened in 1971, it is regarded as one of the best restaurants in Germany, and was ranked 49th in the Elite Traveler World's Top Restaurants Guide 2012 . It was voted 44th best in the world in the Restaurant (magazine) Top 50 2009. Chefs have included Eckart Witzigmann and Heinz Winkler. Since 1991, the chef has been Hans Haas. Fürst-Wrede-Kaserne
Fürst-Wrede-Kaserne has been a military facility in Munich, Germany, since 1936 when it was built by the Munich Heeresbauamt (army construction bureau) under its original name Verdun-Kaserne. After World War II the U.S. forces renamed it Will Kaserne, and the Bundeswehr renamed it once more in honor of Karl Philipp von Wrede on April 17, 1972.
Bayern-Kaserne
The Bayern-Kaserne is a military facility in Munich, Germany, originally named General-Wever-Kaserne. The facility was constructed between 1936 and 1938. After World War II it was renamed by the United States forces to Henry Kaserne in honor of Private Robert T. Henry. When it was transferred to the German Bundeswehr, it was renamed once more in honor of General Walther Wever on October 9, 1969.

1st Mountain Division (Bundeswehr)
