Curt Frenzel Stadium
The Curt Frenzel Stadium is an arena in Augsburg, Germany. It is primarily used for ice hockey and is the home arena of the Augsburger Panther. It holds 7,774 people. It was renamed in 1971 after Curt Frenzel, club president of the Panther, who died in 1970. It is unique in professional hockey, because to this day it is almost an outdoor arena, only covered by a roof, there are no walls.

Augsburg Central Station
Augsburg Central Station (Augsburg Hauptbahnhof) is a railway station for the Bavarian city of Augsburg, situated in southern Germany. The station has one of the oldest still existing station halls in Germany, which was built from 1843 to 1846 after plans by architect Eduard Rüber. It was reconstructed in 1869 according to Friedrich Bürklein's plans. The station today serves as the central railway hub for the Augsburg metropolitan area and Bavarian Swabia.
Wertach (river)
The Wertach is a river in Bavaria, southern Germany, left tributary of the Lech. Its total length is 151 km. The Wertach originates in the Northern Limestone Alps, in Bad Hindelang, east of Sonthofen. It flows north along the towns Wertach, Nesselwang, Marktoberdorf, Kaufbeuren, Schwabmünchen and Bobingen. The Wertach flows into the Lech (itself a tributary of the Danube) in Augsburg.

Turamichele ("Tower-Michael") is the name of a moving mechanical figure on the Perlach Tower next to Perlach church in Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany. It shows the Archangel Michael fighting with the devil. Every year on 29 September (Michaelmas or St. Michael's Day) the Turamichele appears in a window on the west side of the tower. The day is also marked by a big children's party.

Reichsbahndirektion Augsburg (RBD Augsburg) was a Deutsche Reichsbahn railway division within the Bavarian Group Administration in southern Germany. The area covered by this division included the province of Swabia in Bavaria and extended into Upper Bavaria in the area around Augsburg. The southern section of the Ludwig South-North Railway ran through the divisional area along its entire length from via Donauwörth, Augsburg and Kempten (Allgäu) as far as Lindau.

The Town Hall of Augsburg is the administrative centre of Augsburg, Bavaria, Germany, and one of the most significant secular buildings of the Renaissance style north of the Alps. It was designed and built by Elias Holl, Stadtbaumeister (Master Builder of the town), in 1615–1624. Due to its historic and cultural importance, it is protected by the Hague Convention for the Protection of Cultural Property in the Event of Armed Conflict.

Pfersee
Pfersee is a part of the city of Augsburg, Bavaria with some 25.000 inhabitants on the western shore of river Wertach. In 1911 Pfersee was incorporated to Augsburg. The name Pfersee probably derives from “fert” (Furt), meaning a ford (crossing). Pfersee is first mentioned in 8th century, but there also are important archeological findings such as a brazen horse-head which was part of an equestrian statue, probably dedicated to emperor Hadrian.

The Schaezlerpalais is a magnificent baroque palace in Augsburg, now used to house the Deutsche Barockgalerie. The Palace extends far back from the street, encompassing dozens of magnificent rooms, courtyards and gardens. The gilded, mirrored, ballroom, built between 1765-70) survives intact, and is widely regarded as the most artistically significant Baroque room in Germany.
Trams in Augsburg
The Augsburg tramway network is the backbone of the public transport system in Augsburg, in the federal state of Bavaria, Germany. Opened in 1881 as a standard gauge horsecar system, the network was converted to a metre gauge electrically powered system in 1898. It is currently operated by Augsburger Verkehrsgesellschaft (AVG).
