Bodenseekreis
Bodenseekreis ("Lake Constance district") is a district (Kreis) in the south-east of Baden-Württemberg, Germany. Neighboring districts are (from west, clockwise) Konstanz, Sigmaringen, Ravensburg and Lindau. To the south, Lake Constance forms the boundary to Switzerland and Austria.
LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin
LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin was a German-built and -operated, passenger-carrying, hydrogen-filled, rigid airship which operated commercially from 1928 to 1937. It was named after the German pioneer of airships, Ferdinand von Zeppelin, who was a Graf or Count in the German nobility. During its operating life, the airship made 590 flights covering more than a million miles (1.6 million km). It was designed to be operated by a crew of 36 officers and men.

Ottmar Hörl (born 1950 in Nauheim, Germany) is a notable German artist, art professor and writer. From 1975 to 1978, he studied at the "Städelschule" in Frankfurt and from 1978 to 1981 at the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf. In 1985 he was co-founder of the group Formalhaut, with the architects Gabriela Seifert and Götz Stöckmann. 1992/ 1993 Ottmar Hörl was Visiting Professor at TU Graz, 1999 he became Professor of Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Nuremberg, Germany.
Zeppelin Museum Friedrichshafen
The Zeppelin Museum in Friedrichshafen at Lake Constance (Bodensee) chronicles the history of the Zeppelin airships in the city where they were born. The museum, housed inside the former Hafenbahnhof (Harbor Train Station), opened in 1996. The centerpiece of the museum is a reconstruction of a 33-m section of the LZ 129 Hindenburg, created by Zeppelin GmbH. The lower level (B-Deck) of the reconstruction includes restrooms and the smoking parlor (not accessible by visitors).
Ravensburg-Horgenzell transmitter
Ravensburg-Horgenzell transmitter is a mediumwave broadcasting facility of Deutsche Telekom used for transmitting the program of Deutschlandfunk on the area of community Horgenzell northwest of Ravensburg in Baden-Württemberg. It was inaugurated on August 23, 1951 and used until 1959 for transmitting the radio programme of SWF with a transmission power of 40 kW on 1538 kHz. As antenna, it used a 120 metre tall guyed ground-fed lattice steel mast radiator at 47°47'10" N and 9°31'16" E.
Gehrenberg Tower
Gehrenberg Tower is a 30 metres tall observation tower of lattice steel on Gehrenberg, a 754 m high mountain north of Markdorf, standing at an elevation of 704 m. Gehrenberg Tower has some similarities to Eiffel Tower as it also has a bow between its feet. From the observation deck of Gehrenberg Tower, one can see at clear weather the Alps and the Höchsten mountain. Gehrenberg Tower, which carries also antennas, belongs to the town of Markdorf, although it stands on the area of Deggenhausertal.

The Aach is a river in Arbon in Switzerland, formed by the confluence of two rivers, each about nine kilometers long. Battle of Lake Constance
The Battle of Lake Constance was a small naval battle between Roman forces and Celtic tribes in the spring of 15 BC. The battle occurred during the Roman campaigns under Augustus to conquer the northern Alps and regions south of the Danube river. During the last phase of the campaigns in the spring of 15 BC two Roman armies under Drusus and Tiberius set out to subdue Raetia. Drusus' army started from northern Italy crossing the Alps and moving towards the present-day city of Augsburg.

Rotach
The Rotach is a 38 km long tributary of Lake Constance and the Rhine River in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. The river source is near the municipality of Wilhelmsdorf. It flows southward through Horgenzell and Oberteuringen before emptying into Lake Constance at the city of Friedrichshafen.

Friedrichshafen Stadt (city) station is the largest railway station of the city of Friedrichshafen on Lake Constance and a railway junction in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It has five tracks and is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 3 station. Each day it is used by about 160 trains operated by Deutsche Bahn and the Bodensee-Oberschwaben-Bahn (BOB). Württemberg Southern Railway from Ulm ends at the station, where it meets the Lake Constance Belt Railway.
