Enz
The Enz is a left tributary of the Neckar in Baden-Württemberg. It is 112 km long. Its headstreams – the Little Enz and the Big Enz – rise in the northern Black Forest, the latter at Enzklösterle. In Calmbach, the Little Enz and the Big Enz join to form the Enz. The river passes through Neuenbürg and Pforzheim, where it leaves the Black Forest. It then flows through the cities of Vaihingen and Bietigheim-Bissingen. Along the lower course, wine is grown.
Hohenasperg
Hohenasperg, located in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg near Stuttgart, Germany, of which it is administratively part, is an ancient fortress and prison overlooking the town of Asperg. It was an active fortification between 1535 and 1593.
Monrepos
Monrepos is a lakeside palace in Ludwigsburg, Germany. Via narrow pedestrian paths, the little palace is connected to the Favorite Palace, formerly used by the royal family of Württemberg as a hunting lodge, and the Ludwigsburg Palace (Residenzschloss). Since the 16th century, the dukes of Württemberg enjoyed hunting along the Eglosheimer Lake. In 1714, Duke Eberhard Ludwig had an octagonal pavilion, the "Little Lake House" ("Seehäuslein"), constructed on the northern shore.
Bietigheim Enz Valley Viaduct
The Bietigheim Enz Valley Bridge is a well-known German railway bridge over the Enz valley at Bietigheim-Bissingen and one of the landmarks of the city. It was built in 1851-1853 under the direction of Karl Etzel as part of the Western Railway between Bietigheim and Bruchsal. The Bietigheim Enz Valley Bridge is a bricked stone construction with two rows of arches. The viaduct is approximately 287 metres long, approximately 33 metres high and has 21 arches, which extend over the Enz valley.
Hirschlanden transmitter
The Hirschlanden transmitter is a facility of the Deutsche Telekom AG for mediumwave broadcasting south of Ditzingen-Hirschlanden (a village which is a part of the German city of Ditzingen) situated at 48°49'47" N and 9°02'15" E. The Hirschlanden transmitter was inaugurated in 1963 as a transmitter for the programming of Armed Forces Network (AFN) on 1142 kHz (after 1978, 1143 kHz) with a transmission power of 10 kW.

Hochdorf Chieftain's Grave
The Hochdorf Chieftain's Grave is a richly-furnished Celtic burial chamber dating from 530 BC, Halstatt D. An amateur archaeologist discovered it in 1977 near Hochdorf an der Enz in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. By then, the originally 20 ft (6 m) high burial mound covering the grave, which is about 200 ft (60 m) in diameter, had shrunk to about 3 ft (1 m) height and was hardly discernible due to centuries of erosion and agricultural use.
Nippenburg
Nippenburg is a ruined castle located in Schwieberdingen, Germany. The oldest records of Nippenburg date to 1160, which makes it one of the oldest castles in the region of Stuttgart. In the seventeenth century the castle was positioned favorably lying on a mountain spur over-half the Glemstals and built in direct proximity to the manor-house lock Nippenburg. In the following centuries the castle was heavily quarried and abandoned.

The 18-hole course has its name from castle Nippenburg, located next the golf course. The par 71 course was designed by Bernhard Langer and was established in 1995. From 1995 to 1997 the Golfanlage Schloss Nippenburg hosted the German Open. The tournament was won by Colin Montgomerie in 1995, Ian Woosnam in 1996 and Ignacio Garrido in 1997.

Vaihingen an der Enz (officially named Wiesengrund) concentration camp, near the city of Vaihingen an der Enz in the Neckar region of Germany, was a slave labor camp for armament manufacturing built by the Todt organization. In the end phase of the war it became a concentration camp for sick and dying prisoners.

Lauffen bus crash
The Lauffen bus crash of 20 June 1959 resulted in the deaths of 45 people. At the time it was the worst accident involving a bus since the end of the Second World War. A bus chartered by German Railways on a regular service collided with an express train on the Tübingen to Würzburg route at level crossing number 47 at Lauffen am Neckar. In all, 45 persons were killed and 27 others were seriously injured.
