Teltschik Tower
Teltschik Tower is a 41 metre high observation tower built of wood near Wilhelmsfeld, Germany. The tower was built by Dr. Walter Teltschik a citizen of Wilhelmsfeld in remember of his origins in the "Kuhländchen" near Brünn, a part of de former Sudetenland (today Tschech Republic). From the top of the tower you have an excellent view over the hills of the "Odenwald" (mountinious region in southern Germany) and as well to the Rhine-Valley near Mannheim and the Black Forest.
Windeck Castle (Weinheim)
Windeck Castle stands on a small hill in Weinheim on the Bergstraße. It was built around 1100 to protect the inhabitants of the Lorsch monastery. It was hugely damaged in 1674 by the troops of King Louis XIV of France. In 1960, the ruins were restored, the palace walls newly erected and the donjon safeguarded. It was acquired in 1978 by the city of Weinheim.
Wachenburg
The Wachenburg is a castle on a hill overlooking Weinheim an der Bergstrasse, in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was built between 1907 and 1928 by the Weinheimer Senioren-Convent, a Corps of former students. The castle contains a restaurant with a nice view of the country.
Max Planck Institute for Cell Biology
The Max Planck Institute for Cell Biology was located in Ladenburg, Germany. It was founded 1947 as Max Planck Institute for Oceanic biology in Wilhelmshaven, after renaming in 1968, it was moved to Ladenburg 1977. It was closed 1 July 2003. It was one of 80 institutes in the Max Planck Society (Max Planck Gesellschaft).

Heidelberg-Bergheim
Bergheim is a city district of Heidelberg. It is bounded on the North by the Neckar River, the East by the Bismarkplatz, on the South by the Kurfürsten Anlage and the South by the city line. It is a mostly urban residential area, however the Bergheim Campus of the University of Heidelberg has numerous buildings in the district. Since March 2009 the Heidelberg University Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences has occupied the former Ludolf Krehl clinic.
Max Planck Institute for Medical Research
The Max Planck Institute for Medical Research in Heidelberg, Germany, is a facility of the Max Planck Society for basic medical research. Since its foundation, six Nobel Prize laureates worked at the Institute: Otto Fritz Meyerhof (Physiology), Richard Kuhn (Chemistry), Walther Bothe (Physics), André Michel Lwoff, Rudolf Mößbauer (Physics) and Bert Sakmann. The Institute has close ties with Heidelberg University.
University Hospital Heidelberg
The university hospital of Heidelberg is one of the largest and most renowned medical centers in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is closely linked to Heidelberg University Medical School which was founded in 1388 and is thus the oldest within the Federal Republic of Germany. The university hospital is actually made up of 12 hospitals, most of them being situated on the New Campus (University of Heidelberg), about 10 driving minutes away from the old town.

It constitutes together with the 83 decentralized libraries of the faculties and institutes the University Library System, which is headed by the director of the University Library. Neuenheimer Feld
Neuenheimer Feld is an area in the city of Heidelberg, Germany. The area lies on the North side of the Neckar river and consists mostly of buildings associated with the University of Heidelberg, including student accommodation and research facilities, as well as the University Hospital Heidelberg. The German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ) and the Max Planck Society also have facilities on the site.

The Botanischer Garten der Universität Heidelberg (2 hectares), also known as the Botanischer Garten Heidelberg, is a botanical garden maintained by the University of Heidelberg. It is located at Im Neuenheimer Feld 340, Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany; portions are open to the public daily except Saturday without charge. The garden was established in 1593 as a hortus medicus for the University of Heidelberg.
Exotenwald Weinheim
The Exotenwald Weinheim (about 60 hectares) is a forest arboretum located beside the Schlosspark in Weinheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is open daily without charge. The arboretum was established in 1871 by Christian Friedrich Gustav Freiherr von Berckheim (1817–1889), former Minister of State and Großhofmeister at the court in Karlsruhe, on the grounds of a baroque estate founded in 1725.
Schau- und Sichtungsgarten Hermannshof
The Schau- und Sichtungsgarten Hermannshof (2.2 hectares), also known as the Hermannshof Weinheim, is a botanical garden located at Babostraße 5, Weinheim, Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It is open daily in the summer and weekdays in winter; admission is free. Today's garden was first established as a private garden over 200 years ago. It was acquired by the Freudenberg industrialist family in 1888, and in the 1920s redesigned by landscape architect Wiepking-Jürgen Heinrich Mann.

Monastery of St. Michael (Heidelberg)
The Monastery of St. Michael German: Michaelskloster, on the Heiligenberg (Saints' Mountain) in Heidelberg, was a branch of the nearby Lorsch Abbey. The ruined complex that can be seen today was built beginning in 1023. The monastery was abandoned in the 16th century. The first mention of the monastery is in the Lorsch codex, from the 12th century, which dates the founding of the monastery to 870.

Weinheim (Bergstraße) station
Weinheim (Bergstraße) station is a station in the town of Weinheim in the German state of Baden-Württemberg. It is served by Intercity services on the Main-Neckar Railway between Frankfurt and Heidelberg/Mannheim. The Weschnitz Valley Railway (Weschnitztalbahn) to Furth in the Odenwald starts at Weinheim station. There is also a freight railway to Viernheim, the last remaining section of the former Weinheim–Worms railway.
