Patrick Henry Village
Patrick Henry Village, also called PHV, is a United States Army installation at Heidelberg, Germany. It opened in 1947 after World War II and was named after Patrick Henry, first and sixth Governor of Virginia. PHV was at its height populated with up to 16000 Americans, and is now (2012) mostly unoccupied. Also some facilities like the dental office and APO is already shut down, and moved to Mannheim.

The university hospital of Heidelberg is one of the largest and most renowned medical centers in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is closely linked to Heidelberg University Medical School which was founded in 1388 and is thus the oldest within the Federal Republic of Germany. The Botanischer Garten der Universität Heidelberg (2 hectares), also known as the Botanischer Garten Heidelberg, is a botanical garden maintained by the University of Heidelberg. It is located at Im Neuenheimer Feld 340, Heidelberg, Baden-Württemberg, Germany; portions are open to the public daily except Saturday without charge. The garden was established in 1593 as a hortus medicus for the University of Heidelberg.
Heidelberg Central Station
Heidelberg Central Station (Heidelberg Hauptbahnhof) is a railway station for the city of Heidelberg. In 2005 it was used by 42,000 passengers and is one of the largest passenger stations in the German state of Baden-Wurttemberg. The station is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 2 station. The first station was built in 1840 as a terminus near the old town of Heidelberg.
