It is the third largest container company in the world, using 200 shipping routes between 400 ports in 150 different countries. Its headquarters are in Marseille, and its North American headquarters are in Norfolk, Virginia, USA.
Marseille Observatory
Marseille Observatory or Observatoire de Marseille is an astronomical observatory run by the University of Provence. It is located near Marseille, France. In its first incarnation, it was the discovery site of a group of galaxies known as Stephan's Quintet or Hickson 92, discovered by Édouard Stephan in 1877. It was relocated far outside of town but, due to growth of Marseille, it is now on the edge of town.
L'Estaque
L'Estaque is a small French fishing village just west of Marseille. Administratively, it belongs to the commune of Marseille. Gare de Marseille-Saint-Charles

The École centrale de Marseille is a leading graduate school of engineering situated in Marseille, France. The École centrale de Marseille was created in 2006 by the merging of different previous institutions and has its origins from the École d'ingénieurs de Marseille founded in 1890. It is one of the Centrale Graduate Schools (Paris, Lyon, Lille, Nantes, Marseille and Beijing) and a member of the TIME network.
Luynes, Bouches-du-Rhône
Luynes is a village of the Bouches-du-Rhône département in southern France. It is located 4 km south of Aix-en-Provence at the intersection of the D7 and N8 roads. Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Marseille
The Muséum d’histoire naturelle de Marseille or Natural History Museum of Marseille was founded in 1819 by Jean-Baptiste, marquis de Montgrand. It is located in the Palais Longchamp. The museum houses 83,000 zoological specimens d'animaux, 200, 000 botanical specimens, 81,000 fossils, and 8,000 mineral specimens. The four exhibitions areas are la salle Safari -World Fauna- section concentrating on accidental imports through the port.
Aix-en-Provence TGV railway station
Aix-en-Provence TGV is a passenger railway station on the LGV Méditerranée high-speed line in southwestern France, opened in 2001. Located closer to the town of Vitrolles than to Aix-en-Provence itself (which lies 15 km away to the northeast), the station also serves northern metropolitan Marseille (some 20 km away to the south).

Porte d'Aix
Porte d'Aix (also known as the Porte Royale) is a triumphal arch in Marseille, in the south of France, marking the old entry point to the city on the road from Aix-en-Provence. The classical design by Michel-Robert Penchaud was inspired by the triumphal arches of the Roman Empire. The Porte d’Aix was initially conceived in 1784 to honour Louis XIV and to commemorate the Peace of Paris (1783) that ended the American war of independence.
La Vieille Charité
La vieille charité is a former almshouse, now functioning as a museum and cultural centre, situated in the heart of the old Panier quarter of Marseille in the south of France. Constructed between 1671 and 1749 in the Baroque style to the designs of the architect Pierre Puget, it comprises four ranges of arcaded galleries in three storeys surrounding a space with a central chapel surmounted by an ovoid dome.
Musée Grobet-Labadié
The Musée Grobet-Labadié is a museum in Marseilles, housed in a 19th century hôtel particulier owned by the family whose collection it displays. In 1919 Marie Grobet, daughter of the major Marseilles businessman Alexandre Labadié, gave the family art collection and hôtel particulier to the city.

Charlie Jazz Festival
The Charlie Jazz Festival is an annual music festival held every summer in Vitrolles, Provence, France. It was established in 1998 by Charlie Free, a not-for-profit jazz organization which runs jazz sessions every two weeks at Le Moulin à Jazz, a famous jazz club in France. The festival is hosted at Le Domaine de Fontblanche, a public garden with centenaries planes, the first weekend of July.

Euroméditerranée
Euroméditerranée is an urban renewal project underway in Marseille to create a business district in the district of La Joliette. The project was launched in 1995 with the initiative of Robert Vigouroux, former Mayor of Marseille, and the State. The agreement for the establishment of a public agency of development was signed in 1994, working on an area of 310 hectares. Since 2007, "Euroméditerranée Act 2" extended the scope to 170 more hectares.
