Canal du Midi
The Canal du Midi (Occitan: Canal de las Doas Mars, meaning canal of the two seas) is a 240 km long canal in Southern France. The canal connects the Garonne River to the Étang de Thau on the Mediterranean and along with the 193 km long Canal de Garonne forms the Canal des Deux Mers joining the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. The canal runs from the city of Toulouse down to the Étang de Thau. The Canal du Midi was built by Pierre-Paul Riquet.

The Basilica of St. Sernin is a church in Toulouse, France, the former abbey church of the Abbey of St. Sernin or St. Saturnin. Apart from the church, none of the abbey buildings remain. The current church is located on the site of a previous basilica of the 4th century which contained the body of Saint Saturnin or Sernin, the first bishop of Toulouse in c. 250.

Stadium Municipal
Stadium Municipal de Toulouse is the largest multi-purpose stadium in Toulouse, France. It is the seventh-largest stadium in France. It is currently used mostly for football matches, mainly those of the Toulouse Football Club and the big games of rugby in the Stade Toulousain in the Heineken Cup or Top 14. It also hosts the test matches of France's national rugby union team. It is located on the island of Ramier near the centre of Toulouse.
Stade Ernest-Wallon
Stade Ernest-Wallon (usually called "stade des Sept Deniers") is a multi-purpose stadium in Toulouse, France. It is currently the home of rugby union team Stade Toulousain. The stadium was built in the late 1980s and was recently renovated. It has a capacity of 19,500. The stadium however is not always suitable for big games. For the larger fixtures, such as championships play-offs or Heineken Cup games, the fixture may be moved to Stadium Municipal, which has nearly double the capacity.
Musée des Augustins
The Musée des Augustins de Toulouse is a fine arts museum in Toulouse, France which conserves a collection of sculpture and paintings from the Middle Ages to the early 20th century. The paintings are from throughout France, the sculptures representing Occitan culture of the region with a particularly rich assemblage of Romanesque sculpture.
Capitole de Toulouse
The capitole is the heart of the municipal administration of the French city of Toulouse. The Capitouls (governing magistrates) of the Toulouse embarked on the construction of the original building in 1190, to provide a seat for the government of a province growing in wealth and influence. The name "Capitole" referred not only to the Roman Capitol but also to the capitulum which was the chapter of the governing magistrates.
Bazacle
The Bazacle is a structure in and on the banks of the River Garonne in the French city of Toulouse. It originated as a ford across the river Garonne, used from the 12th century onwards. The name bazacle comes from the Latin word vadaculum, meaning "little ford". The first bridge across the Garonne was built here, where the water was shallowest. In 1190, with the permission of comte Raymond V of Toulouse, a sort of dam, the chaussée, and adjacent mills were built.
University of Toulouse II – Le Mirail
Université Toulouse II or University of Toulouse II (known by the name of Université de Toulouse-Le Mirail, or UTM) is one of 3 universities in Toulouse, France. The campus, situated in Toulouse's grand architectural project of the 1960s, Le Mirail, was conceived and built by the team of architects Candilis, Josic, Woods. Mirail University was hastily conceived as a result of the saturation of the original buildings in the city centre and of course the events of May 1968.
Airbus Industrie Flight 129
Airbus Industrie Flight 129 refers to an Airbus A330-300 that crashed on 30 June 1994 at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport while undergoing performance tests. It was the first fatal accident involving an Airbus A330 as well as the first hull-loss of the type. It remained the only fatal accident involving an A330 until the crash of Air France Flight 447 on 1 June 2009.
Occitan cross
The Occitan cross — also cross of Occitania, cross of Languedoc, cross of Forcalquier and Toulouse cross — is the symbol of Occitania. It was first used as such, probably, in the coat of arms of the counts of Forcalquier in Provence, and then by the counts of Toulouse in the traditional territory of Languedoc and later spread to the other provinces of lo país, namely Provence, Guyenne, Gascony, Dauphiné, Auvergne and Limousin.
Canal de Garonne
The Canal de Garonne, formerly known as Canal latéral à la Garonne, is a French canal dating from the 19th century which connects Toulouse to Castets-en-Dorthe. The remainder of the route to Bordeaux uses the Garonne River. It is the continuation of the Canal du Midi which connects the Mediterranean with Toulouse. Together they and the Garonne River form the Canal des Deux Mers which connects the Mediterranean Sea to the Atlantic Ocean.
Canal de Brienne
The Canal de Brienne (also known as the "Canal de Saint-Pierre") is a French canal connecting the Garonne River with the Canal du Midi and the Canal de Garonne. It has two locks. The lock opening to the Garonne is known as Ecluse Saint-Pierre. The lock nearer to the Canal du Midi usually stands open. The canal is in the centre of Toulouse, in the Midi-Pyrénées region of France.
Toulouse Business School
Toulouse Business School was founded in 1903 by the Toulouse Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the school's initial vocation was to respond to the needs of the local business community for able business administrators. Originally housed in a 15th century monastery in the old town centre, the School's present premises include a downtown campus, a modern campus located on the perimeter of the city, a modern campus in Barcelona, Spain and another in Casblanca, Morocco.
Théâtre du Capitole
The Théâtre du Capitole de Toulouse is an opera house and ballet company located within the main administration buildings, the Capitole, of the city of Toulouse in south-west France. The first performance space, a salle du jeu de spectacle, was created in the building in 1736 by Guillaume Cammas. Following a period of neglect, the current space was created during the rebuild of 1818. The theatre suffered fire damage in 1917, but was restored in 1923.

Stade des Ponts Jumeaux
The Stade des Ponts Jumeaux (the "Twin Bridges Stadium") was a rugby union stadium, inaugurated on 24 November 1907, in the Ponts Jumeaux district of Toulouse, south-western France. The land was purchased by the embryonic Stade Toulousain rugby team – with financial assistance from city notables – then headed by a law professor from the University of Toulouse, Ernest Wallon. The stadium, nicknamed Le Wallon, had a capacity of 6500 and hosted many internationals during its existence.

Stade des Minines is a rugby league stadium in Toulouse, France. It is the home ground of Toulouse Olympique. Currently it has a capacity of 4066, including (2,000 seats). It is due to be expanded to reach a 10,000 capacity over the next two years. The renovation plans include the creation of a shop, a gym, and an administrative office for the club. The cost of the project is estimated to be 8 millions of euros.

Notre-Dame de la Daurade is a basilica in Toulouse, France. It was established in 410 when Emperor Honorius allowed the conversion of Pagan temples to Christianity. The original building of Notre-Dame de la Daurade was a temple dedicated to Apollo.
Augustinian convent (Toulouse)
The Augustinian Convent of Toulouse was founded in 1286 for members of the Augustinian religious order. It was first establshed outside the city walls, near the Matabiau quarter, then, between 1310 and 1341 moved to the corner of rue du Musée and rue des Arts. In 1790 it ceased to be a convent and today its buildings house the Musée des Augustins.

École Supérieure d'Audiovisuel
The École Supérieure d'Audiovisuel (ESAV - Graduate School of Audiovisual) is an educational institute in Toulouse that teaches aspects of filmmaking. It was created in 1978 under the leadership of the University of Toulouse-Le Mirail and Guy Chapouillié. It issues Level 3 license, Master 1 and Master 2 certificates. The Master 2 leads eventually to a PhD course. The school has a library created in 1989 that holds more than 10,000 documents, mainly books and movies in the audiovisual field.
