Venoix
Situated west from Caen, in Calvados, France, Venoix long was an independent commune. It merged with Caen in 1952 when the development of the nearby city and the need for financially costly infrastructures made it necessary. Its inhabitants still keep today a distinctly specific feeling of living in Venoix rather than in Caen.
Ardenne Abbey
Ardenne Abbey, "l'Abbaye d'Ardenne," or Abbaye Ardenne is the site of a Premonstratensian monastery in Saint-Germain-la-Blanche-Herbe, near Caen, France, containing a chapel built in 1121 and other medieval buildings. The Abbaye was used as an observation post by the Germans in the Battle of Normandy, and was heavily damaged by Allied forces. As a result, much of the Abbaye visible today has been rebuilt or restored.

Stade Michel d'Ornano
Stade Michel d'Ornano is a multi-use stadium in Caen, France. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of Stade Malherbe Caen. It is named after the French politician Michel d'Ornano, former president of the Basse-Normandie region. Gare de Caen Saint-Martin
Saint Martin, was the main station on the CF Caen-Mer and the terminus of the line for trains from Courseulles and Luc-sur-Mer. The station and line opened on 30 June 1875, with a spur linking it to the CF de l'Ouest opened on 12 September 1877. The station closed in 1951, after a few years closure during 1945, after World War II and an extensive utilisation for the transport of military supplies. Saint Martin Station was situated on Caen's Place du Canada and the building is still present.

It is open daily. The garden's earliest plants were collected in 1689, and its first catalog published in 1781 (Jardin botanique de Caen by Farin and Demoneuse).

Stade de Venoix was a multi-use stadium in Caen, France. It was initially used as the stadium of SM Caen matches. It was replaced by the current Stade Michel d'Ornano in 1993. The capacity of the stadium was 11,500 spectators.
