The château de Rambouillet is a castle in the town of Rambouillet, Yvelines department, in the Île-de-France region in northern France, 50 km southwest of Paris. It is the summer residence of the Presidents of the French Republic.

Château de Dampierre
The Château de Dampierre is the castle in Dampierre-en-Yvelines, in the Vallée de Chevreuse, France. Built by Jules Hardouin-Mansart, 1675-1683 for the duc de Chevreuse, Colbert's son-in-law, it is a French Baroque château of manageable size. Protected behind fine wrought iron double gates, the main block and its outbuildings, linked by balustrades, are ranged symmetrically around a dry paved and gravelled cour d'honneur.
International Museum of Naive Art
The International Museum of Naïve Art (French: Musée International d'Art Naïf) is situated at 15, rue de la Mairie, in the village of Vicq, 25 km from Versailles at the centre of the Yvelines département in France. The museum opened in 1973, in the house that was the former home to Max Fourny and his wife Françoise Adnet, the figurative painter. The paintings are from Max Fourny's own collection as well as other collections. The museum is a non-profit organisation.
Étang de Saint-Quentin
The Étang de Saint-Quentin, or pond of Trappes, with a surface of approximately 2.5 km², is the largest body of fresh water in Yvelines. It on in the perimeter of the new town of Saint-Quentin-in-Yvelines, in the commune of Trappes and Montigny-le-Bretonneux. The lake an important base of outdoor recreation. To the west of the lake a national natural reserve of 0.87 km² was established in 1986.

Château of Thoiry
The Château of Thoiry is a 150-hectare castle, zoo and botanical garden that was opened to the public in 1965 in the village of Thoiry, France, with gardens and a zoological park. Located about 30 miles due west of Paris, it is best visited by automobile to take advantage of the drive-through lane. Its popularity has continued to grow -- by 1974, over 280,000 visitors per year were coming to see an assortment of 1,000 wild animals.

Désert de Retz
The Désert de Retz is an Anglo-Chinois or French landscape garden - created on the edge of the forêt de Marly in the commune of Chambourcy, in north-central France. It was built at the end of the 18th century by the aristocrat François Racine de Monville on his 40-hectare estate. It is notable for the construction of 17 (or 20) buildings, of which only 10 still survive, referring to classical antiquity or in an exotic style.
Forest of Rambouillet
The Forest of Rambouillet or Forest of Yveline (Forêt de Rambouillet, or Forêt de l'Yveline) is a large forest covering some 200 km², located to the west of Paris, in the Île-de-France region in northern France. The town of Rambouillet lies on its southwestern edge. On 26 December 1999, Hurricane Lothar hit the northern half of France, wreaking havoc to forests and parks. The Forest of Rambouillet lost hundreds of thousands of trees.
Château de Groussay
The Château de Groussay is located in the town of Montfort-l'Amaury, in the Department of Yvelines, in France. The Château was built in 1815 by the duchesse de Charest, a daughter of Louise Elisabeth de Croÿ-Havré, marquise de Tourzel, the governess of the royal enfants de France of Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.

The Mérantaise is a small river in southern Île-de-France, left tributary of the Yvette, which is a tributary of the Orge. Its source is in Voisins-le-Bretonneux, near Versailles, in the Yvelines department.
Arboretum de Grignon
The Arboretum de Grignon (0.8 hectares) is an arboretum located within the campus of the Institut des sciences et industries du vivant et de l'environnement on Avenue Lucien Brétignières, Thiverval-Grignon, Yvelines, Île-de-France, France. It is closed to the public but may be visited by groups. The arboretum was established in 1873 by M. Mouillefert, professor at Grignon, who published in 1896 a pamphlet describing the arboretum at that date; however, it was lost in 1940.

The Jardin botanique de l'Institut National is a small botanical garden located within the campus of the Institut des sciences et industries du vivant et de l'environnement, formerly known as the Institut National Agronomique Paris-Grignon, on the Avenue Lucien Brétignières, Thiverval-Grignon, Yvelines, Île-de-France, France. It is closed to the public but may be visited by groups. The garden was established sometime before 1979 on a plot of land adjacent to the Arboretum de Grignon.
