Château des Rohan (Mutzig)
The Château des Rohan ("Castle of the Rohan") is a former castle and weapons factory now serving as a museum and cultural centre in the French town of Mutzig, Bas-Rhin, Alsace. The castle, whose structure goes back to the 13th century, belonged to several families of noblemen and bishops of Strasbourg before being turned into a rifle factory after the French Revolution. The castle is most famously associated with the House of Rohan and the Chassepot rifle.
Jesuit Church, Molsheim
The former Jesuit Church (Église des Jésuites) is the parish church Sainte-Trinité-et-Saint-Georges which is the main Roman Catholic sanctuary of Molsheim, France, and the principal 17th century church building in the Rhine Valley. The church was built between 1615 and 1617 by the German architect Christoph Wamser, and consecrated on 26 August 1618. Molsheim's Jesuit church is considered one of the foremost examples of Gothic Survival architecture or, as it is called in German, Nachgotik.
Château de Wangen
The Château de Wangen is a destroyed 13th century castle in the commune of Wangen in the Bas-Rhin département of France. Located within the urban area of Wangen, all that remains is the central space it occupied, its plan is still visible on land maps. The castle appears to date from the 13th century. It was mentioned as an episcopal fiefdom in 1359. In 1440, when Armagnac troops crossed the region in a campaign against Strasbourg, it suffered some damage.
